WWE HALL OF FAMER'S LIFE BEING TURNED INTO DOCUMENTARY, 'WRESTLER' DIRECTOR HEADING TO WOLVERINE? LITA AND MORE

By Mike Johnson on 2010-10-06 11:14:57
This past Thursday in Paramus, New Jersey, final documentary footage for a film on WWE Hall of Famer Ted DiBiase's life was filmed at a "This is your Life" type of event, which I was told was an amazing night.  Basically, DiBiase thought he was going to be making a religious speaking engagement and was then shocked to find out the event was his friends and family honoring him.  The documentary is being edited now and has been following him for a little over a year, including his WWE Hall of Fame induction.  We'll have more details when they are available.

Darren Aronofsky, who directed "The Wrestler" and resurrected Mickey Rourke's career with that film, is in discussions to helm "Wolverine 2."  No word if Jeff Katz will return to produce.

I had the chance to watch Pro Wrestling Guerrilla's "Seven" event over the weekend and it's an off the charts show.  The Bryan Danielson vs. Roderick Strong and Chris Hero vs. Davey Richards bouts are absolutely worth going out of your way to see.  You can order it from www.highspots.com.

Amy "Lita" Dumas will be appearing on www.InYourHeadOnline.com tonight for an interview.

There is also a documentary on Baron Von Raschke in the works.
