FORMER ECW WORLD CHAMPION INDUCTED INTO ECW ARENA'S HARDCORE HALL OF FAME

Former ECW World champion Jerry Lynn was inducted into the ECW Arena's Hardcore Hall of Fame today during today's ROH on HDNet Television taping. The induction, which was an unadvertised surprise at the taping, was handled by Jim Cornette.

Lynn's feud with Rob Van Dam for the ECW World Television championship in 1998-2000 was the highlight for many an event for the original Extreme Championship Wrestling. Lynn has worked for a number of promotions in the venue since ECW shut down, including ROH.

The Arena will induct another former ECW World champion, Tommy Dreamer at the 7/25 CHIKARA event and inducted the late Michael "Trent Acid" Verdi at last week's Acid-Fest event.
