WHERE WADE BARRETT REALLY WAS LAST NIGHT, WHY DREW MCINTYRE WAS YANKED OFF SMACKDOWN

As we broke last night in the PWInsider.com Elite section, Drew McIntyre and Wade Barrett have been pulled from WWE television as their current work visas have expired, thus they are no longer eligible to work within the United States. In the case of Barrett, he has returned to Great Britain while he awaits a new visa to be cleared. McIntyre has returned to Scotland to begin the same process.

Obviously, they wrote McIntyre's departure into the Smackdown storyline. Barrett's disappearance was not acknowledged on Raw beyond a mention that he had a "meeting" at WWE HQ.

From speaking to people within the company last night, it appears there's no timetable for when Barrett and McIntyre will return. It's a waiting game for the new visas.
