THE FUTURE OF JESSE VENTURA'S TRUTV SERIES AND MORE

During his book signing for "American Conspiracies" today at Borders Books Columbus Circle in New York City, Jesse Ventura stated his TruTV series "Conspiracy Theory" has been picked up for a second season. Ventura said they expected to have 8-10 episodes for season two, which would begin filming sometime this Summer for airing later this year or early 2011.

Ventura was scheduled to read excerpts from the book at the signing but that aspect was canceled due to the size of the crowd in order to accommodate everyone who wanted a signed copy.

Curtis Sliwa of the Guardian Angels was in attendance at the signing, visiting with Ventura.

The signing seemed to be mostly non-wrestling fans. Ventura would sign one extra item per book purchased and was gruff but friendly, if that makes any sense.
