Kleinrock will remain somewhat affiliated with Big Vision, which has had a rough 2009 after the fall of the independent DVD market from a number of chains shutting down and surviving chains, including Best Buy, severely limiting their purchases of titles. In the case of Best Buy, I've been told that the chain will not carry DVD titles going forward unless they believe they will move at least 1,000 copies per week.
Kleinrock was the original brainchild for the short-lived MTV Wrestling Society X and had been involved in a number of different wrestling-related projects, including XPW and the NWA Championship Wrestling from Hollywood.
In a blog, Kleinrock noted that for the last several months, he and other BVE employees have been working without getting paid in an attempt to help the company while it reorganized and got back on its feet. While a few deals being made would put the company back in the game, given the personal strains he has gone through - a divorce, raising two children who suffer from the rare Angelman Syndrome and will never be able to be self-sufficient - Kleinrock made the decision to head to Arizona after his ex-wife opted to return there.
Kleinrock goes into very deep, personal detail in a blog at http://wwpersonified.wordpress.com/ while his company website launched today (imagine that coincidence) at http://www.WorldwidePersonified.com.
