HACKSAW DUGGAN, EDGE, BATISTA AND MORE

By Buck Woodward on 2009-11-20 10:00:00

Is it my imagination or on Smackdown, was Batista wearing nose jewelry, and was Rey wearing eyebrow jewelry? And did I imagine this or did Batista, as he was walking away, mouth the words "You piece of sh*t as he looked back at Rey?

Nope, you didn't imagine the jewelry.  Batista has a nose piercing and Rey has an eyebrow piercing.  As for the Batista comments, I find it hard to believe he would mouth a curse, since MyNetwork TV probably would not approve of it being aired.  Besides, in the PG-WWE world, they don't use that word.

I read the interview with Kofi Kingston that you linked to, and in it he was asked if there were any moves that WWE doesn't want him using and he replied no. How does WWE determine if they can use it? I know that they know ahead that on this card Kofi's going to wrestle the Miz and that they would run through the spots, if he wants to use a new move does he approach an agent and then demonstrate it if necessary?

In most cases, if a wrestler is using a new move, they will first bring it out on a house show, and the WWE agents will see it, and if they decide it isn't a move they want to see used, they will tell the wrestler to discontinue using it.  Most wrestlers understand that head dropping moves and extreme high risk spots are something WWE wants limited use of, so most don't push to incorporate them into their bouts.

Is "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan still wrestling for the WWF/E? I haven't seen him in a while. If he is not, do you see him following Hogan to TNA?

Hacksaw is no longer on the active roster, but you never know when he may show up (like, perhaps, at the Royal Rumble).  I suppose it is possible he could go to TNA, but it remains to be seen if Hogan will be leading in a parade of older stars to the company.

Any update on Edge situation? His injury in the Achilles tendon is improving? Will he come back in time for Royal Rumble 2010 or WrestleMania XXVI?

It seems highly unlikely at this point that he would be ready to return at the Royal Rumble.  There is still a possibility he could be ready for Wrestlemania. A lot of it hinges on how his rehabilitation goes, and then, how long it takes for him to return to ring shape.

With Hulk Hogan in TNA, Do you see wrestlers like Brutus Beefcake, Greg "The Hammer" Valentine and Bill Goldberg following him to TNA?

I hope not.  TNA's turning into a "legends" promotion doesn't have much long term potential if you ask me.
