Hulk Hogan will be signing his new autobiography at Book Soup in Los Angeles later today. Hogan has been plugging TNA on all of his book tour signings.
TNA will be taking the Ultimate X match to the 1/30 Wembley Arena stop of their tour of Great Britain in January. That will be the first time the signature bout has been held on a non-televised TNA event. I'd love to see TNA really start taping all of their live events, especially the overseas tours, just to add to their library of footage that could be released down the road on DVD or Video on Demand, especially for something like that or the first Bobby Lashley vs. Scott Steiner bout, which is set for Monday in Nashville.
D'Angelo Dinero, who returned at the most recent Impact tapings after taking time off to deal with a family illness, posted a note of thanks on his official website, www.theelijahexpress.com. In regard to how TNA reacted to his needing to leave the Bound for Glory PPV to rush home, Dinero wrote, "Pope would also like to send a very special thanks to his TNA family; from the locker room, to the seamstress, all the way down to the janitor. TNA is truly a family atmosphere and a great company to be apart of. I dunno, maybe...just maybe YOUR Pope may decide to stick around for another 5-10 years! And then there's Dixie Carter, one of the most personal and compassionate bosses that Pope has EVER worked for in this lifetime. It's such a rarity to work for a boss who genuinely care for his/her employees (ESPECIALLY in this business) the way Dixie does."
The 2009 TNA Bound for Glory DVD will be a 2 DVD set. The No Surrender DVD will be released on 11/10.
TNA posted Dixie Carter's speech to the TNA roster, which aired on last night's episode of Impact:
