ROH released a preview trailer for their 9/26 Glory by Honor VII event in New York City, featuring one of the funniest lines of the year out of Jim Cornette (and that's saying something):
Ring of Honor introduced a new concept last night regarding their ROH
championship. Basically, ROH has twelve contenders facing off in singles
bouts. The six winners will be in the "Pick Six" and will be the only
contenders who are able to get title shots against current ROH champ Austin
Aries. Their wins and losses will determine who the top contender is out of
those six. It's an interesting twist on the old "Top 10" rankings system.
ROH taped the first of the bouts to determine the contenders last night and
will continue tonight:
