Without going into spoilers, Hulk Hogan did not appear at last night's TNA Impact tapings, which means the Hulkster's "live" debut on Impact will not occur this week. While there might be (and in all honesty, better be) pre-taped footage of Hogan on the show, he will not appear from the Impact Zone this week.
There's pretty good arguments as to when Hogan should come out in front of a TNA crowd for the first time. Obviously, the news of Hogan's signing has gotten a lot of attention, and the Impact rating did go up last week, so there is a train of thought that Hogan needs to "show up" soon, or fans who tune in expecting to see the Hulkster will just as quickly stop watching. At the same time, if TNA were to tease Hogan and build up for his "Impact Zone debut" they might be able to cultivate more of an audience before giving them the payoff. Of course, there is also the "make them pay of it" mentality, which means the first time Hulk Hogan steps in front of a TNA crowd it should be during a Pay-per-view event.

- As soon as possible, at a TNA Impact taping.
- On TNA Impact, but with several weeks of build, hype and advertising.
- Hogan's first appearance should be at a PPV event, not on Impact.
