Oscar De La Hoya's Golden Boy Enterprises sold the final independent newsstand wrestling magazine Pro Wrestling Illustrated and its sister magazines (The Wrestler and Inside Wrestling) back to previous owner Kappa Publishing last week.
Pro Wrestling Illustrated staffers were informed of the sale earlier today. De La Hoya's company retained ownership of "The Ring" boxing magazine and associated assets.
Golden Boy Enterprises had purchased the magazines from Kappa in September 2007.
