1959 - Lee Fields defeats The Mighty Yankee in Mobile, Alabama to win the NWA Gulf Coast Heavyweight Title for the second time in his career. In a different twist, Fields would vacate the title a few months later when he decided to buy the promotion.

1964 - Chin Lee defeats Silento Rodriguez for the NWA Gulf Coast Heavyweight Title, ending Rodriguez' second title reign in Mobile Alabama.

- The Eliminators defeated Chad Austin & Tony Stetson.
- Taz defeated Jason Knight.
- Cactus Jack defeated Pablo Pena (As part of his storyline at the time, Cactus purposely made the match as boring as possible, in order to infuriate the hardcore fans. He would tease using a chair or fighting on the floor, but then would simply apply a side headlock instead. The fans responded by doing the "wave".)
- Konnan defeated Dudley Dudley.
- Psicosis defeated Rey Mysterio Jr. in a three falls match.
- Raven & Stevie Richards defeated The Pitbulls to become two-time ECW World Tag Team Champions.

Instead, ECW held the "Three Way Dance, Part 2" with Public Enemy defeating The Gangstas and Steven Richards & Raven to win the ECW World Tag Team Championship for the fourth, and final, time in their careers.

1996 - WCW Monday Nitro defeated WWF Monday Night Raw, 3.5 to 2.1 in the Monday night ratings battle. Nitro was headlined by a Ric Flair vs. Randy Savage bout that didn't take place due to the NWO attacking both men, while Raw featured Sid Vicious defeating Goldust.
