AEW's Eddie Kingston was hurt while wrestling Gabe Kidd in the main event of the New Japan Pro Wrestling event in Ontario, CA over the weekend, PWInsider.com has learned.
Kingston hurt his legs taking a suplex through a table when they roughly hit the guard rail while taking the bump.
Kingston, who is slated for the AEW Double or Nothing Anarchy in the Arena bout, is slated to undergo testing this week to determine whether there is an injury coming out of the match.
If there is, AEW may already have a way to write Kingston out of bout as he was attacked by The Elite at the end of the match with Kidd, who captured the New Japan Strong Openweight Championship during that bout.
