TNA World Tag Team Champions Brian Myers & Eddie Edwards Will Be In Albany On May 1-2 To Preview The TNA Shows In Albany
TNA Wrestling presents back-to-back nights of high-energy live pro wrestling on Friday and Saturday, May 3-4. Both shows will originate from the Washington Avenue Armory – and all TNA championships will be on the line in Albany, as TNA makes its long-awaited return to Albany for the first time since October 2022.
TNA World Tag Team Champions Brian Myers & Eddie Edwards will be in Albany on Wednesday & Thursday, May 1-2, to speak with the media, preview the TNA shows in Albany and more.
BRIAN MYERS
Brian Myers is celebrating 20-years as a pro wrestler in 2024 – and he is half of the reigning TNA World Tag Team Champions with Eddie Edwards. Myers has held singles and tag team championships in TNA. He wrestled for the WWE from 2006-2020 where he was a two-time World Tag Team Champion. Myers and fellow wrestler Matt Cardona run the highly successful Major Wrestling Figure Podcast, where they talk about wrestling figures and more related to pro wrestling and action figures. He is a New York resident and diehard Mets fan.
EDDIE EDWARDS
Eddie Edwards celebrated 10 years in TNA Wrestling in 2024 and has been a champion in singles and tag team action during that stretch. Half of the reigning TNA World Tag Team Champions with Brian Myers, Edwards is an in-ring specialist who has been wrestling professionally since 2002. His wife, Alisha Edwards, is a talented Knockout and trusted member of the feared faction, The System. Trained by the legendary Killer Kowalski, Eddie is a Boston resident and, naturally, a diehard Boston Celtics fan.
The TNA action in Albany kicks off Friday, May 3 with UNDER SIEGE, which will air live on the TNA+ app, including title matches for the TNA World Championship, the Knockouts World Championship and much, much more. Then, on Saturday, May 4, the TNA television trucks will be in Albany to capture all the in-ring action for upcoming episodes of the company’s flagship weekly TV show that airs at 8 p.m. EST every Thursday night (AXS TV in the U.S., Fight Network in Canada).
