Former ECW champion Taz underwent surgery on his hand yesterday in an attempt to repair nerve damage that has led to a loss of feeling, muscle atrophy and an inability to grip with hisright hand.
Taz took to Instagram last night, noting that the surgery took longer than was originally intended because surgeons needed to do more intricate work than they originally believed they would need to. They also did work on Taz's left thumb due to the beginnings of issues with that extremity as well.
The surgery and recovery means Taz will have to miss a few episodes of his radio show, which airs Monday to Friday from 7-9 AM EST, streaming from NYC at www.TazShow.com. The plan is for Taz to return tomorrow with a video and audio feed from his home as he is currently unable to drive from Long Island to CBS' studio in Manhattan.
