By Mike Johnson on 2017-08-14 22:37:00

Former WWE and TNA star Ken Anderson sits down with PWInsider.com's Mike Johnson at the Legends & Icons convention this past Saturday discussing, for the first time, his side of the story that led to his TNA release, the drug test he failed, why he looked into suing the company, where he is today health-wise, starring in the WWE Studios film Behind Enemy Lines: Colombia, the process of getting the role, the differences in pro wrestling and performing on a ovie set, his training school The Academy in Minnesota, partnering with Shawn Daivari on the school, how training others makes you a better pro wrestler, a seminar they have with Sean Waltman coming up, whether he wants to return to WWE, how the independents prepared him for WWE and tons more - a great, open conversation with Ken Anderson....ANDERSON.  To listen to the interview, subscribe now at www.PWInsiderElite.com.

There was some local news coverage of Magnum TA being turned away from Disney's Magic Kingdom theme park last week on Orlando news tonight.  TA had brought his family but was refused entry as the parks have banned Segways and TA uses one (with a seat) to get around.  The park offered to rent TA an electric scooter but did not have any that would have allowed him to operate the vehicle with his left hand (as he is paralyzed on his right side).  Disney makes their Segway policy very public on their website and the entire situation is unfortunate, so hopefully the two sides can figure out something, as it is a shame that TA brought his children to Disney only to be unable to enter.  When the reports pop up online, we'll link to them.

Several readers have noted that their local promotions, who are members of the National Wrestling Alliance, have started to move away from using those initials.  NWA Smoky Mountain in particular are advertising that their event this Saturday 8/19 will be their final event. The reason for this is that the NWA licenses with promotions that paid for them under Bruce Tharpe's version of the organization will expire this October and under new owner Billy Corgan, those licenses will not be renewed.

A trailer for a forthcoming documentary on Joey Ryan was released today.  Jim Cornette will be narrator.  Just kidding.
