Following Tuesday's Smackdown taping, expect WWE to descend upon New York City with a massive media blitz to promote this weekend's Summerslam-related events. The company has a ton of community outreach events planned for the entire week as well as talents on different radio and media outlets to promote their biggest event of the summer.
As you can imagine, Ric Flair's health has been the primary topic of discussion backstage at Raw this afternoon.
WWE celebrity Hall of Famer Snoop Dogg will be in town for Summerslam weekend.
There will be a Triple H media call later this week to discuss Saturday's NXT Takeover: Brooklyn event, which will feature:
*WWE NXT champion Bobby Roode vs. Drew McIntyre
*WWE NXT Women's champion Asuka vs. Ember Moon
*WWE NXT Tag Team champions The Authors of Pain with Paul Ellering vs. SanitY
*Aleister Black vs Hideo Itami
*Johnny Gargano vs. Andrade “Cien” Almas with Zelina Vega
The WWE Network will be streaming Summerslam live in Portugese this weekend.
The WWE Network continues to add episodes of World Class Championship Wrestling from the 1980s. If you have never seen the promotion, it was something to behold in the early '80s during the era the Von Erich family battled the Fabulous Freebirds.
