After his management team stated over the weekend that Ric Flair was in the hospital for routine tests on his heart, his spokesperson Melinda Morris Zanoni updated Flair's situation with this much more serious tweet:
Are u a Fan/Friend of Ric Flair?If so, we need prayers & positive energy 4 our Living Legend as he is dealing w/some tough medical issues????????

Oh her company (Legacy Talent and Entertainment, LLC) Facebook page she wrote:
This was a drastic change from earlier in the weekend.
On Saturday, Zanoni had implied the situation wasn't serious when she tweeted:
Yes,Ric in hosp 4routine monitoring.No reason2panic.Yes,many thx2his fiancé&hospstaff.No excuses Ric wld want u2go out 2nite NaturBoy style!

Flair has noted in the past that he suffers from heart issues that are alcohol related. In his 2004 autobiography he wrote about the condition.
