WWE United Kingdom Champion Pete Dunne suffered a laceration about his left eyebrow after an errant belt shot spot last night against Darius Carter for the Battle Pro promotion in the Brooklyn, NY. He was busted open bad enough that the match was shortened.
There is no word whether or not Dunne will compete in his scheduled WWE UK Title match against Jack Gallagher tonight in Queens, NY for PROGRESS Wrestling.
However, a source states that WWE is contemplating pulling Dunne from tonight's show as well as tomorrow's PROGRESS show in Somerville, MA.
