205 LIVE REPORT: FRIENDLY COMPETITION, THE CHAMP AND CHALLENGER TALK, KENDRICK AND GALLAGHER IS . . . NOT FINISHED, AND MORE

We begin with a video package for Rich Swann and TJ Perkins.

We are in Toronto, Ontario, Canada and your announcers are Vic Joseph and Corey Graves.

Match Number One:  Tony Nese versus Cedric Alexander

They lock up and Nese wants to pose for Cedric.  Nese with a wrist lock and Alexander with a single leg trip.  Nese blocks a hip toss and Alexander with a head scissors and drop kick.  Alexander poses for Nese and then Alexander sends Nese to the floor.  Alexander sets for a dive to the floor but he lands on the apron when Nese moves.  Alexander with a moonsault off the apron.  Alexander with a chop.  

Nese pushes Alexander away and then Nese crotches Alexander on the top rope.  Nese kicks Alexander on the ropes and Alexander bounces onto Nese's shoulders for a gutbuster and he gets a near fall.  Nese with another near fall.  Nese puts Alexander in the tree of woe and he connects with knees.  Nese with kicks while doing some ab work.  Nese kicks Alexander but Alexander with a forearm.  Nese with a forearm of his own and he sets for a suplex but Alexander iwth an inside cradle for a near fall.

Nese with a running back elbow and he kicks Alexander.  Nese with a body scissors.  Nese blocks a kick but Alexander with an enzuigiri.  Alexander with clotheslines and a shoulder into the corner and an enzuigiri from the apron.  Alexander with a springboard clothesline for a near fall.  Alexander with a chop.  Nese with a pump handle Michinoku Driver for a near fall.  Nese slaps Alexander and Alexander with a forearm.  Alexander with a kick but he misses a clothesline when Nese does a matrix move.  Alexander goes for a handspring round kick but Nese catches Alexander.  After a series of near falls with rollups, Nese gets the three count with a handful of tights.

Winner:  Tony Nese

After the match, Nese says that what you just witnessed was a great athlete and a premier athlete.  Tony says he means no disrespect.  You take care of you body a lot better than all of these shlubs.  As long as he is around, you are always going to be second best.

We go to the back where Brian Kendrick is in the interview area.  We take a look back at what happened last week between Jack Gallagher and Brian Kendrick.  Brian is asked if watching that was difficult.  It just proves his point that Jack Gallagher does not have what it takes.  He had a chance to compete and fight him, but Jack found a way to get disqualified.  He was a coward and a clown.  If you want to say that Jack showed a vicious side, who cares because he won.  That is all that matters.  Brian says he is moving on to his neck chapter.

Jack Gallagher attacks Kendrick from behind and punches him.  

Kendrick runs away.

We see TJ Perkins in the back.

Noam Dar is in the ring and he says he recognizes his opponent.  He says it is Mark Thomas.  He watched him as a kid.  He asks if Mark is trying to chase the dream.  Noam says he is 24 and he is a WWE Superstar.  Those boots are probably older than him.  Noam wishes him luck.

Match Number Two:  Noam Dar versus Mark Thomas

Thomas with punches to Dar and Dar goes to the floor.  Thomas with a front face lock but Dar kicks Thomas in the knee.  Dar with a Northern Lariat and punches to Thomas.  Dar with forearms and kicks to Thomas but Thomas with a punch.  Dar with a European uppercut.  Dar with a running drop kick for the three count.

Winner:  Noam Dar

We go to commercial.

We are back and Corey Graves is in the ring to interview Akira Tozawa.

Corey congratulates Tozawa on his road to this point and he says Tozawa has some momentum on his side . . . 

That momentum will have to wait as Neville makes his way to the stage and he has a mic.

Neville asks Corey how long has he known him and he wants to know what Corey is doing to his show.  You are interviewing the challenger while Neville sits in the back and twiddles his thumbs.  Neville says this is his show so Corey should be interviewing the King of the Cruiserweights.

Neville says that Corey is trying to hype the match but Neville says he is the hype.  He is 205 Live and Tozawa is no competition for the king.  You should be asking him the important questions while Tozawa throws the chair to the floor and he removes his jacket and rolls up his sleeves.

Tozawa tells Neville he has a question for him.  

Corey moves out of the way.

Neville says that he is out here to save the WWE Universe from his poor English.

Tozawa asks Neville how will he feel when he beats him for the title at Summerslam.

Neville laughs and Tozawa kicks Neville and goes up top but Neville goes to the floor to avoid Tozawa. 

Neville tries to get back into the ring but Tozawa kicks Neville away.

Rich Swann is getting ready for his match in the locker room as we go to commercial.

Match Number Three:  Rich Swann versus TJ Perkins

They lock up and Perkins with a waist lock take down.  Swann holds on to the side head lock when Perkins tries to send him off the ropes.  Perkins tries to get out of the hold but Swann with a side head lock take down.  Swann floats over in the corner and Perkins with a kick.  Swann misses a drop kick when Perkisn moves.  Both men block kicks and they go to the ropes.  They lock up and Perkins backs Swann into the turnbuckles.  Perkins with a European uppercut followed by a snap mare but Swann with a snap mare and kick to the back.  Perkins goes into the ropes and then Swann clothesline Perkins over the top rope to the floor.

Swann with a corkscrew senton onto Perkins on the floor.  Swann sends Perkins into the ring to get a near fall.  Swann with a hammer lock as he takes Perkins to the mat.  Perkins with an elbow and then he sends Swann face first to the mat after elevating him into the air.  Perkins with a suplex and he holds on for a belly-to-back suplex.  Perkins gets a near fall.  Perkins sends Swann sternum first into the turnbuckles.  Perkins with a slingshot senton for a near fall.  Perkins with a bow and arrow but Swann turns his hips for a lateral press and he gets a near fall.  

Swann with a kick but Perkins with a springboard forearm for a near fall.  Perkins with a top wrist lock. Perkins with an Irish whip but Swann with an elbow.  Swann and Perkins both miss moves from the turnbuckles and both men are down.  Swann with clotheslines followed by a back heel kick and a double stomp to the back.  Swann with a jumping uppercut and a jumping rana to take Perkins from the turnbuckles and Swann gets a near fall.  Swann gets for a Gibson Driver but Perkins blocks it and Swann with a sunset flip.  Perkins with a knee bar but Swann escapes and hits the spinning back heel kick.  Swann with a handspring moonsault for a near fall.  

Swann goes up and misses the Phoenix Splash.  Swann with a rollup for a near fall.  Perkins avoids the round kick and Perkins gets Swann on his shoulders but Swann escapes.  Perkins with an Electric Chair drop into the turnbuckles followed by the Detonation Kick for the three count.

Winner:  TJ Perkins

After the match, Perkins has something to say to Swann and he celebrates his victory.

Rich Swann walks through Gorilla Position and TJ Perkins wants to know what is wrong.  He asks if Swann is a sore loser.

Swann talks about the way that Perkins acted after winning.

Perkins says they are still friends.

Swann says he is starting to know who Perkins really is.

Swann walks away as we go to credits.
