I am really curious about this, but no one else has asked about it. When they have a cruiserweight match. the ropes are always purple, and the ring mat is different. How do they do that fast change to the purple, and the mat, and then back again? It puts me in mind of a Nascar pit stop :)
That is pretty much what it is. The crew works really quickly to make the changes to the ring area then they remove it when the segment is over.
I love the fact that they put Joe vs Lesnar and I can just hope that they do the right thing and put Joe over. But then again, wouldn’t it have been smarter to let a babyface get that push? Imagine Finn Balor beating Lesnar clean for the title, classic underdog scenario, would elevate him big time. In my opinion, pushing a babyface to that level is much harder than a heel. I know, it isn’t all black and white, but I feel like they miss that opportunity.
First we have to hope that Joe gets the win. The original tentative plan was for Lesnar to work Roman Reigns at SummerSlam so WWE was thinking that babyface would get the win against Brock. I am with you, I love the idea of Joe beating Brock, either next week or at SummerSlam. Then they can pick the right babyface, or Roman Reigns, to beat Joe in time. If they go with Reigns vs. Lesnar? Well I think they will be seeing more ratings drops. if it’s me, I have Brock cheat to retain on Sunday and then rematch it at SummerSlam with Joe winning. Then Joe looks legit and they get the Title off of part time Brock, which has to happen. If they put that belt on Reigns, it will be really bad.
So DB bans Ellsworth, and yet back he comes, and interferes in the match. Again. What do you think will happen?
Bryan should do something to him for defying the order. Maybe he can force him to dress up in a dopey outfit and get used by a beautiful woman.
Whoever came up with that silly, stupid, altogether insipid Miz segment, need to go back to school! I don't follow Basketball, so I had no idea who those folks were. But I just saw no point to the whole thing, and it really had no reason. Then nothing really happened! So what was the point? Were these people big in that town? Is there any sense to be made of that?
WWE was looking for clips on the mainstream news and sports networks and social media pushes. And in the process, they let an almost fifty year old man disrespect the Intercontinental Title plus force it’s champion to back down. It was so bad on so many levels.
SD is getting so silly. I can't figure out what drugs the writers must be on. This "Fashion Files" thing, is just a stupid time-waster, and the Maria/Mike thing has no sense to it at all. And did they really think it made the Usos look good to walk away from a match with The New Day?
There has always been comedy in wrestling. I like Breezango and they are good in their role. They just shouldn’t be in the Title picture. Let’s see where Mike and Maria go in the storyline before we trash it. As for heels backing away, yeah I do hate that and it happens too often.
