PROGRESS Wrestling announced today they would be debuting in Boston, MA on Sunday 8/13, the promotion's first-ever event in the New England area of the United States. The event will be a double header with Beyond Wrestling. Additional details are forthcoming.
Last month, the promotion announced they would be debuting in New York City on 8/12 at the ELMCOR Center in Queens, NY, a venue utilized in the past by House of Hardcore and House of Glory, among other promotions. That event is a double header with EVOLVE.
PROGRESS ran its first event in the United States over Wrestlemania 33 weekend in Orlando, Florida. It has signed a deal with WWE for its content to be utilized on the WWE Network if and when WWE finally launches independent wrestling content on their planned tiered system.

Cable V. sent the following.... WWE will be running Worcester, MA, an hour west of Boston, on 8/13 too. With Raw eminating from Boston on 8/14, WWE could also make use of some PROGRESS talent on their shows, if they choose to do so.
