BIG MAIN EVENTS FOR TONIGHT'S RAW AND LOTS MORE WWE NEWS

By Mike Johnson on 2017-05-29 09:39:00

Before we jump into any news, we just want to take a moment to wish everyone in the United States a happy and safe Memorial Day and to take a moment to wish anyone who is serving or has served in our military (as well as their family members) a massive thank you for what they have sacrificed for our safety.  Today is designed to take a moment to remember those who have sacrificed all for our country and that is massively important, but we should also always try to remember the military families who are serving right now, because what they and their families endure is something those of us who are not in that world can never truly fathom  Thank you all.

The Augusta Free Press featured a long piece on WWE Hall of Famer Ricky Morton at this link.   On the business, Morton said, "“I’ve been wrestling for 44 years, and I still learn every day. You’ve got to have that mind.  When you’ve got a kid that you can’t teach, thinks he knows everything, that’s the kind I like. Because I can show him so much that he don’t know, I can really spin his head around quick. Learn our business, you can’t learn it all. If you keep an open mind and learn and learn, you can get better.   Our business isn’t about being a great wrestler. It’s about being at the right place at the right time. And when you’re at the right place at the right time, if you’re able to do what they want you to do that, if you can fill those shoes and do what they want you to do, you’ve got to be prepared to do it.”   Morton also predicted that WWE would induct the Midnight Express into the Hall next year.
