CODY RHODES VS. ANTHONY GANGONE, EYFBO VS. REDRAGON, HOMICIDE, BRIAN XL, KEN BROADWAY VS. LIO RUSH & MORE: HOUSE OF GLORY 'ADRENALINE' COVERAGE FROM NYC

By Mike Johnson on 2017-05-27 23:30:00

Welcome to PWInsider.com's live, ongoing coverage of House of Hardcore "Adrenaline" at Club Amazura in Jamaica, Queens!

Private Party & Smiley vs. House of Gangone

Really a fast paced six man tag.   There was a big triple drive early on and an incredible false finish where Party and Smiley nailed a triple 450 splash off the top at the same time, but the House of Gangone members kicked out.  There was another nutty spot where one of the Party was jettisoned into the air for a RKO that looked amazing.  Smiley and Party worked over Juba, big man, for a long time before taking him out with a triple superkick.  In the end, Smiley was pinned with a sitdown powerbomb by Juba but clearly kicked out.  The crowd booed the finish.

After the match, Anthony Gangone cut a promo where he convinced Smiley his career had gone nowhere since leaving the House of Gangone, leading to Smiley turning on the Party and laying them out, unmasking himself and even attacking a female fan (girlfriend?) who tried to talk sense into him, only to be superkicked and to have her arm snapped.

Crowd was SUPER into the opener.  Unfortunately, I didn't have the names of the heels so it was impossible to do PBP.

Leroy Green vs. Matt Travis

Ken Broadway and Travis attacked Green and began beating him down when LAX's music hit and out came Homicide, who was unadvertised.  Guess he's not on the India TV tapings for Impact!   Homicide took Green's place and began beating Travis all over the ringside area.....

Homicide vs. Matt Travis

He slammed Travis on the floor.  Homicide tossed him back into the ring but was attacked as he followed through the ropes.  Homicide cut him off and nailed the Three Amigos to a big pop, which led to an "Eddy" chant.  Homicide was nailed and hit with a dropkick after Travis rebounded off the ropes.   Travis nailed him with forearms but Homicide gave him the finger and nailed an Ace Crusher for a two count.  He set up for the Cop Killer but Travis landed on his feet and nailed a superkick that sent Homicide to the floor.  Travis nailed a flip off the apron, wiping out Homicide.

Back in the ring, Homicide caught Travis with an exploder.  Travis came back and worked over Homicide, then came off the ropes with an axehandle for a two count.   Travis began drilling Homicide with kicks to the chest.  Homicide fought his way to his feet and nailed several chops.   They went back and forth until Homicide nailed the scariest looking Cop Killa I have ever seen in my life and pinned Travis.  Seriously, I thought the man's neck was broken apart.  It looked that brutal.

Your winner, Homicide!

Good back and forth match.

After the match, Green returned and tried to nail Broadway with his own HOG Crown Jewel championship but Broadway ducked and Travis got wiped out.

They announced a 6th anniversary event for Friday 8/18, which is Summerslam 2017 weekend.

Draconis vs. Sasha Jenkins vs. Big Daddy Cruz vs. Mantequilla

Jenkins and Mantequilla had some nice back and forth exchanges.  Mantequilla is doing a full-blown superhero deal now, complete with Hurricane Helms spots.   Draconis, who does a maniac deal, cut him off and began stomping him.   Mantequilla tried to chop his way out of a two on one against Jenkins and Draconis.   They worked him over and placed him on the top for a double superplex when Cruz, who had been out on the floor, returned and turned it into a Tower of Doom.

Mantequilla nailed a Samoan Drop on Cruz but was grabbed for an inverted pumphandle slam suplex by Draconis.  Jenkins was working over Mantequilla when Cruz nailed a lariat that sent him upside down and pinned him.

Your winner, Big Daddy Cruz!

WWE Hall of Famer Booker T came out and did a promo, saying he has a promotion on Texas and the independents are where you put your blood and sweat in to become the stars of tomorrow.  The crowd loved it.  He thanked everyone for supporting him for 26 years, 10 tag team titles and of course a five five five five time World championship run.
