Hi Dave. I'm surprised that Jim Johnston hasn't already been inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. His music has played such an integral part in the the WWE product since the 1980s. He has composed so many different styles of music tailored specifically to individual wrestlers. Think about how perfectly the Ultimate Warrior's theme music suits his character and his entrance. Same for Mankind, Steve Austin, DX, Goldust, Undertaker, and so many more. Hell, I recently heard Tito Santana's theme music from circa 1989 and thought about how perfect it was for him. Do you think Johnston deserves a spot in the WWE HOF? Any additional thoughts on his contributions to WWE and his influence on the industry as a whole?

He is a slam dunk Hall Of Fame in my view, without a doubt.  I agree with you, his themes have helped make characters.  He has been a vital cog in the WWE Machine and is undoubtedly deserving of the Hall Of Fame.

Is it just me, or has Rusev lost his accent?  And am I to understand that because Lana has been training, that now her and Rusev will be two separate entities?

They are building Lana up for a gimmick of her own at this point.  Rusev still has some accent.  I guess we will see how much he has when he is on TV more often.  They have had lapses in the past where they didn’t put it on so heavily.

First I will tell you that while I think Jeff Hardy is talented, I am no fan of his brother. I didn't watch TNA in the last few years, so I am not at all familiar with what was going on there. And I was reading that WWE might have them use their "Broken" gimmick in WWE. I have zero idea what the "Broken" gimmick is. Could you please enlighten me?

Honestly?  It’s really something that you need to see.  It is a hard thing to just describe and fully convey what it means.  Go to Google and find some of the videos that Matt has posted and watch it.  If you can go chronologically that would be even better.

How long do you think WWE will wait before using Rosey’s death as a way to get sympathy or lessen the boos for Roman Reigns? I fully expect to hear Michael Cole at Payback saying “What an effort from Roman Reigns despite the death of his brother” or “Roman Reigns is a true hero, coming out here despite the death of his brother”.

The supposed smart fans booed the mention of Reigns at last week’s Raw, and most (if not all) of them knew that his brother had just passed away.  I think that anyone that would do something like that would not change their mind one bit if WWE made the passing part of the commentary.  I am typing this before Payback but I hope that no mention is made there or anywhere else along those lines.  I think it would be in poor taste.

As a fan of WWE, I wonder what's going on with them and the two world titles.  On Smackdown Live, they have Kevin Owens, Baron Corbin and AJ Styles fight for the second best title.  Who's left to fight Randy Orton?  I don't have a problem with Jinder Mahal, but didn't he loose his last 10 fights before becoming the number one contender?  And on Raw, the champion is nowhere to be found for the last month.  Are we suppose to care for those prime titles?  I feel the WWE think that they are "alone" in the business and do whatever they want no matter what cause they know the audience will be there anyway... comments?

I think there is definitely a feeling that they can do what they want with minimal repercussions.  And to be fair, until people tune out in droves, they can keep thinking that way.  With that said, I am with you.  With Brock Lesnar off of Raw and Randy Orton tied up with Bray Wyatt, the shows have been a bit lacking at the top of the card.  At least Smackdown has tried to push Kevin Owens and his Title as being important, but years of them telling us that the US Title is secondary will not be easily forgotten by the fans.  I am all for giving Jinder a chance, but having the World Champion as a bit player hasn’t helped Smackdown and not having the Universal Champion at all has hurt Raw even more.
