Original story:
While we haven't confirmed the nature of the injury yet, PWInsider.com has confirmed the reason The Revival's Dash Wilder did not work some of the WWE NXT events over the weekend and instead was working ringside is that he's suffered an injury.
The Revival was just brought up to Raw two weeks ago, laying out The New Day. Wilder is at Raw in Columbus, Ohio. There's no word yet how long he will be out but one source believed it was not going to be a short-term hiatus. One source stated he looked "very down" backstage at Raw.
Wilder last wrestled on 4/14, as The Revival faced Hideo Itami and Shinsuke Nakamura in South Carolina. Later on in that show, The Revival hit the ring to turn babyface and take turns beating down NXT champ Bobby Roode. It appears the injury may have happened there as Scott Dawson teamed with Bobby Roode at the Concord, NC NXT event on 4/15 with Wilder working ringside. Wilder did not get physically involved at the NC event.
PWInsider.com is working to confirm additional details.
