LUKE HARPER, WHAT MATCH TO USE TO WIN OVER NON-FANS, CLOSING WRESTLEMANIA AND MORE

By Mike Johnson on 2017-04-14 10:00:00

Is there some sort of a backstage power struggle over look Harper? Just last week he was in Smackdowns main event and now he wasn't even mentioned this week. And it's not the first time since leading up to Mania he was main eventing Smackdown, getting great fan reaction for weeks, only to disappear for weeks and then suddenly main event against Wyatt. It's such a strange way to treat someone who was getting over as a legit baby face.

I would think that the Superstar Shakeup led to Harper being put on the backburner.  They had a lot of segments regarding new talents coming in, so I can understand why Harper wasn't featured in a major way this week.

My fiancé is not a wrestling fan and is of the "wrestling is fake" thought process.   I have so many favorite matches to choose from, What single match could I have her watch to try and sell her my love of the art that is wrestling?

I still look at the Ric Flair vs. Ricky Steamboat match as the perfect example, but there's also Undertaker vs. Shawn Michaels for Wrestlemania 25.

I know it's been said here on the site that the World Heavyweight Championship should be the closing match at Wrestlemania. I agree with this, unless there is some beyond dream match that is on the cards. So with all signs pointing to the Universal title closing Wrestlemania, how do you feel about this? The WWE title on Smackdown is the more prestigious, but let's be honest. Orton and Wyatt doesn't scream must-see. And the WWE has once again painted Raw as the more important show, despite trying to make it and Smackdown equal only months earlier this year. So the WWE title is going to be treated as less important despite having the company's history behind it.

As it turned out, neither major championship closed Wrestlemania.  In the case of Undertaker vs. Reigns, it was an important moment that should have closed the show.

I know it's a storyline, but am I correct in assuming that Seth Rollins is medically cleared?

Rollins is cleared.

When is CM Punk returning?

No time soon.
