WBIR TV is reporting that Glenn "Kane" Jacobs will make an announcement on April 11 at 2 p.m. concerning his potential run for mayor of Knox Country, TN. Given that the meeting will be at a local establishment and friends and family are expected to attend, all signs point to him officially announcing he will indeed run.
Jacobs, who has identified as a Libertarian in the past, is registered as a Republican on the form he filed last month for a potential run at the office.
He and his wife also own an insurance agency in the area.
