STYLES 'FIRED', NXT RETURNING TO DOWNLOAD FESTIVAL, ANGLE FACE TO FACE WITH BRYAN, CENA AT SXSW, WWE HIRES FOR LATIN AMERICA, MAURO, OTUNGA AND MORE WWE NEWS

The WWE storyline is that AJ Styles has been fired by Smackdown, which one would think means he is Raw-bound following Wrestlemania 33 after wrestling Shane McMahon.

Mauro Ranallo missed Smackdown last night due to being stranded due to the weather conditions in the Northeast. 

Erick Rowan was backstage at Smackdown last night and is cleared to return.

David Otunga had been scheduled to miss the taping due to a film role.  Otunga has been booking a number of acting roles of late, including an upcoming Adam Sandler Netflix comedy "Sandy Wexler" that will be released on 4/14. series follows a group of friends go through the trials and tribulations of life during college.

WWE NXT will return to the Download Festival in Great Britain this June, it was announced today.  Talents announced include Bobby Rhode, Aleister Black, Tye Dillinger and Kassius Ohno.

Tickets for the June WWE NXT UK dates will go on sale this Friday

On "Talking Smack" LAST NIGHT, Daniel Bryan and Renée Young revealed that earlier in the day WWE filmed a 360° VR interview with Daniel Bryan and Kurt Angle in which they discuss a fantasy showdowns between the two. Young said the interview will be coming to WWE social platforms (most likely YouTube) soon. 

Multichannel News reported two hires to the WWE management team in Latin America.  The company has announced Joaquin Del Rivero as Vice President & General Manager, Latin America and MaurÍcio Ramírez Cuesta as Marketing Director, Latin America.   They will be working out of the company's Mexico City office as WWE intends to expand more into that region.
