STYLE BATTLE SEASON 1 EPISODE 3 REPORT: WHO ADVANCES TO THE GRAND CHAMPIONSHIP?, DAVIS VERSUS DRAKE, CADE VERSUS MATTHEWS, STONE VERSUS HENRY, PARROW VERSUS CRUZ, AND MORE

Who will join Dave Crist and Tracer X in the Style Battle Season 1 Finals?

Before the start of the PPV, Saheem al Subah faced Jumble and Jumble got the win with a Death Valley Driver.

Trevin Adams and Mister Saint Laurent are in the ring for the start of Style Battle.

They talk about the participants in tonight's Style Battle show.  

Match Number One:  Bracket A Match:  Jason Cade versus Kyle Matthews

Kyle goes for the leg and Cade avoids him.  Kyle tells Cade he does not do flips.  Cade with a take down and then Matthews with a head scissors but Cade with a cartwheel.  Cade with a head scissors and Matthews goes to the floor.  Cade with a flip dive onto Matthews on the floor.  Cade with a punch from the apron and he goes up top but Matthews trips Cade and Cade falls to the floor.

Matthews sends Cade into the apron and kicks him.  Back in the ring, Matthews with a suplex for a near fall.  Matthews with a body scissors but Cade leans back to get a near fall.  Matthews adds a chin lock and then he runs Cade into the turnbuckles and he kicks Cade.  Matthews with a drop toe hold into a Muta Lock.  Matthews with shoulders in the corner.  Matthews with an enzuigiri followed by a Boston Crab.  Cade kicks Matthews in the head but Matthews with a knee for a near fall.  Cade with punches and forearms.  Cade lands on his feet on a suplex attempt and then he hits a running knee into the corner followed by a drop kick.  Cade puts Matthews on the turnbuckles for a springboard Frankensteiner and a near fall.

Cade with a handspring Codebreaker for a near fall.  Matthews with a back body drop but Cade lands on his feet.  Matthews with a lungblower for a near fall.  Matthews with a forearm and Cade fires back.  Matthews with a forearm and Cade with a forearm.  Matthews with a chop and Cade with a bicycle kick.  Matthews with a kick and tornado DDT.  Cade with a spinning heel kick and both men are down.

Matthews with a kick and then he hits a sunset flip and then Matthews with a super kick and a running drop kick into the corner.  Matthews with an inside cradle for a near fall.  Matthews returns to the Muta Lock.  Cade gets to the ropes.  Matthews with a chop and he puts Cade on the turnbuckles.  Cade blocks a superplex attempt and Cade with a forearm to the back and he goes for a sunset flip power bomb but Matthews holds on to the ropes.  Cade with a super kick and double stomp followed by a frog splash for the three count.

Winner:  Jason Cade (Advances to face winner of Anthony Henry versus Martin Stone)

Jason is asked about how he feels after his victory.  He says Kyle Matthews is a hell of a competitor, but Kyle is not good enough to beat him.  He says he is undefeated in Style Battle.  Cade says we will see more from him in Round Two and it does not matter if it is Martin Stone or Anthony Henry.

Match Number Two:  Bracket A Match:  Anthony Henry versus Martin Stone

They lock up and Stone backs Henry into the corner and gives a clean break.  They lock up again and Henry backs Stone into the ropes and Henry with a kick but it does not fully connect.  Stone with an uppercut that glances off Henry's head.  Henry with a wrist lock.  Stone with a drop toe hold and Henry gets to the ropes.  They lock up and Stone with a wrist lock.  Henry with a snap mare but Stone kips up and he tells Henry what number he thinks he is.  

Henry with a single leg take down.  Stone with a wrist lock.  Henry with a hip lock take down into a wrist lock.  Stone with a crucifix for a near fall.  Stone and Henry shake hands and then they lock up again and Henry with a head scissors on Stone.  Stone escapes and he walks to the other side of the ring.  Henry with a waist lock and Stone with a wrist lock.  Stone with a reversal into a wrist lock take down.

Stone with an arm bar.  Henry backs Stone into the corner and then he takes Stone down and gets a near fall with a La Magistral.  They shake hands again.  They go for a Greco Roman Knuckle Lock and Henry with a top wrist lock and arm drag.  Henry with a hammer lock using the leg and he manipulates the arm.  Henry with a cover and he gets a near fall.  Stone with a wrist lock and he works on the fingers but Henry gets to the ropes.  Henry with a drop kick and Stone goes to the floor.  Henry goes for a suicide dive and Stone with a punch.

Back into the ring, Stone with a suplex and he gets a near fall.  Stone with a rear chin lock.  Stone works on the neck and he punches Henry.  Stone with a snap mare for a near fall.  Stone with a reverse chin lock.  Stone with a chop and an Irish whip but he runs into a boot.  Henry with a kick to the chest and a drop kick to the knees.  Henry with a spinning toe hold.  Henry with forearms and he gets a near fall.  Stone with punches to get out of the hold.  Henry kicks Stone in the back of the leg since Stone was trying to get some blood recirculating into the lower body. 

Henry rolls through into a Trailer Hitch but Stone is next to the ropes and he gets to them.  Henry has to release the hold.  Stone and Henry exchange forearms.  Stone with the advantage and he connects with a European forearm.  Henry with a forearm but Stone with a clothesline.  Henry with a forearm and then he hits a snap German suplex but Stone gets back up and hits a cutter.  Both men are down.  Stone is sent to the apron and Henry with a leg sweep and Stone goes to the floor.  Henry comes off the apron and hits a flying knee to Stone.

Henry with a running forearm followed by a suplex and he goes up top.  Henry with a missile drop kick and he gets a near fall.  Henry with kicks to the chest and then he goes for a springboard move but Stone moves out of the way and Stone applies a crossface.  Henry with an ankle lock and Stone counters back into the crossface.  Henry gets to the ropes and the hold is broken.  Henry with a single leg take down and he rolls into an ankle lock.  

Henry with a series of kicks for a near fall.  Henry misses a round kick but he does not miss the second time.  Henry goes up top and hits a double stomp but Stone kicks out.  Henry gets up first and he says it is over but Stone misses and he connects with an enzuigiri and suplex.  Stone with a kick followed by a power bomb and head butt for a near fall.  Stone returns to the Crossface but Henry tries to escape and Stone holds on.  Henry with a rollup and a series of kicks but Stone with a clothesline and a hanging DDT for the three count.

Winner:  Martin Stone (Advances to face Jason Cade)

After the match, Stone is interviewed about his condition going into the next round.  He says if it went another twenty minutes, he would win again.  He says that Henry is overrated and he is a Finn Balor wannabe with the double stomp.  He says he is the best and he will win Style Battle.

Match Number Three:  Bracket B Match:  James Drake versus Jon Davis

Drake offers his hand and Davis shakes it so there will be honor in this match.  They lock up and go to a stalemate.  They lock up again and Drake with a side head lock.  Drake with a shoulder tackle and Davis stays on his feet.  Drake with another side head lock and he takes Davis down with a shoulder tackle, but Davis returns the favor.  Davis blocks a hip toss but he cannot avoid a drop kick and Davis goes to the floor.  Davis pulls Drake off the apron and Drake lands on the apron, which is the hardest part of the ring.

Davis with punches and forearms.  Davis breaks the referee's count and then he slams Drake's left arm on the apron.  Davis sends Drake's head into the apron and then he takes too much time dealing with the people in the crowd so Drake is able to send Davis against the ropes and he connects with an uppercut.  Drake with a slingshot senton back into the ring and he punches Davis.  Drake with a head butt.  Davis with a slam but Drake gets back up and he pushes Davis.  Davis pushes back but Drake with a thumb to the eye and a punch.  Davis with an Irish whip but he runs into a boot.  Davis sends Drake into the turnbuckle and then he hits a belly-to-back suplex.  

Davis stands on one arm and he stretches the other.  Davis with a kick to the back.  Davis with a head butt and he kicks Drake in the chest and Drake wants more.  Drake with forearms but Davis with kicks and a drop kick for a near fall.  Davis with a European uppercut and he slams the arm into the mat.  Davis is sent into the turnbuckles and Drake hits a belly-to-back suplex for a near fall.  Drake tries to Irish whip Davis but Drake appears to have hurt his arm.  Davis sees that and he takes advantage, sending Drake face first into the mat and he gets a near fall.  

Davis works on the fingers and Drake does not give up.  Davis with kicks and Drake with punches but Davis with a round kick and he gets a near fall.  Drake with punches but Davis with a knee to the midsection.  Drake with a chop but Davis responds with elbows.  Drake with a chop and that forces the straps down for Davis and he unleashes a Roderick Strong quality chop.  Drake is no slouch either and they go back and forth.  Drake with a flying boot but Davis pops up and hits a spinebuster.

Both men are down.  Davis has some words and Drake pushes Davis.  Drake misses a drop kick and Davis sets for a suplex but Drake blocks it.  Drake with an overhead belly-to-belly throw and then he hits a flying boot for a near fall.  Davis with an Exploder but Drake with a running European uppercut.  Drake misses a cannonball.  Davis goes for the Gorilla superplex but Drake pushes Davis off the turnbuckles and then Drake hits a frog splash but Davis kicks out.  Drake with elbows but Davis is able to hit a jackhammer and Drake kicks out at two.

Davis with a punch and then he sets for a waist lock but Drake with an elbow.  Davis with Three Seconds Around the World but Drake kicks out at two.  Davis misses a boot but he gets Drake in a cross arm breaker.  Drake with a power bomb for a near fall.  Davis with a crossface.  Drake with a rollup for a near fall.  Davis with a forearm but Drake with a spinebuster for a near fall.  Drake goes up top and signals for a moonsault.  Drake misses the moonsault but he connects with a back fist.  Davis with an enzuigiri.  Davis with a spinebuster followed by a German suplex and short arm clothesline for the three count.

Winner:  Jon Davis (Advances to face winner of Parrow versus Jon Cruz)

After the match, Davis is asked about his condition for the next match.  Davis says they should bring Drake back.  He says that he has won Style Battle when it was part of Evolve and he will win it tonight.

Match Number Four:  Bracket B Match:  Jon Cruz versus Parrow

Cruz with a drop kick during the introductions as he tries to get the advantage on the bigger man.  Cruz escapes a power slam attempt and he hits a super kick and chops but Parrow stays on his feet.  Cruz with another super kick and a cross body that sends Parrow to the floor.  Cruz goes for a suicide dive and Parrow catches Cruz and sends him into the post in the ringside area.  Parrow picks up Cruz and sends him back into the ring.

Parrow with a back body drop and then he connects with a clothesline that flips Cruz after he gets up.  Parrow gets a near fall.  Parrow goes for a belly-to-back suplex but Cruz lands on his feet.  Cruz with a super kick and enzuigiri.  Cruz goes to the turnbuckles and hits a cross body but Parrow catches Cruz and sends him into the turnbuckles with a fallaway slam.  Parrow gets a near fall.  Parrow goes for a power bomb but Cruz lands on his feet and he connects with punches and a super kick but Parrow stays on his feet.  Parrow sends Cruz to the apron and Cruz with an enzuigiri.  Cruz with Meteora but Parrow with an emphatic kick out.

Cruz with kicks and forearms followed by chops.  Parrow with a power bomb for the three count.

Winner:  Parrow (Advances to face Jon Davis)

Match Number Five:  Bracket A Finals:  Jason Cade versus Martin Stone

Cade has some words for Stone before locking up and Stone with a wrist lock as he may try to get Cade to eat his words.  Cade gets to the apron.  Stone reminds the referee that he HAS UNTIL FIVE.  Cade apologizes for pissing off Stone.  Cade with a kick to the knee and he says he lied.  Cade with a running knee and a running kick into the corner.  Cade with a springboard Frankensteiner for a near fall.  Cade hits a Pedigree but Stone kicks out.

Stone gets his boots up when Cade charges into the corner and Stone hits a missile drop kick.  Cade with a drop kick to the knee and he kicks Stone in the leg.  Stone with a kick and suplex followed by a forearm for a near fall.  Cade lands in a handstand when Stone goes for the cutter.  Cade with a super kick for a near fall.  Cade gets Stone up but Stone escapes.  Cade goes to the turnbuckles and when he comes off, both men bump heads and go down.

Cade and Stone go back and forth with forearms until Stone gets the advantage and hits a European uppercut.  Stone with a power bomb but Cade with a bicycle kick.  Stone with a clothesline but Cade gets his foot on the rope to stop the count.  Cade with an inside cradle for the three count.

Winner:  Jason Cade (Advances to the finals against the winner of Jon Davis versus Parrow)

Jason is interviewed after the match and he points out that he beat Martin Stone in the middle of the ring and he is undefeated in Style Battle competition.  Now he is also undefeated in WWE UK Title competition.  Cade says he is taking all of this momentum to the finals.

Match Number Six:  Bracket B Finals:  Jon Davis versus Parrow

The bell rings and they charge at each other and Parrow gets the advantage with forearms and a fallaway slam for a near fall.  Parrow with punches.  Davis with chops and forearms followed by an Irish whip and forearm into the corner but Parrow stays on his feet and he hits a Fallaway Slam into the turnbuckles.  Parrow gets a near fall.  Parrow sets for a suplex but Davis blocks it and Davis with a Jackhammer for a near fall.  

Parrow with a reverse pile driver but Davis kicks out.  Parrow looks around and he puts Davis on the turnbuckles.  Parrow sets for a super Fallaway Slam but Davis with elbows and Davis gets to the apron.  Davis with forearms and then he hits a sunset flip power bomb and then he hits a German suplex and follows with a clothesline from Dark City for the three count.

Winner:  Jon Davis (Advances to Finals)

After the match, Jon is reminded that he defeated a man who has been unbeatable in WWE.  Will Jon be able to transition to a smaller opponent.  Davis says there are two types of people in WWN.  The undefeated and the ones who have faced Jon Davis.

Parrow grabs some chairs and throws them around the ringside area.

Match Number Seven:  ACW Tag Title Match:  Kraken (Chip Day and Murder One [with Adrian Armour]) versus Chance Champion and Omar Amir (with Skinny Vinny) versus The Dirty Blondes (Michael Patrick and Leo Brien [with Erik Essex]) versus The Lacey Twins (Gabe Lacey and Greyson Lacey)

Murder One and Patrick start things off.  Murder One tags in Gabe and then Patrick tags in Amir.  They lock up and Amir with a side head lock and shoulder tackle.  Gabe with a hip toss and slam.  Greyson tags in and Greyson slams Gabe on Amir and Greyson hits a shooting star press for a near fall.  Day tags in and he applies a side head lock on Greyson.  Greyson with a springboard corkscrew cross body for a near fall.  Amir tags back in and Greyson with a kick and a springboard cross body but Amir catches Greyson and hits a spinebuster but Gabe breaks up the cover.  Champion tags in and Amir with a suplex into a power bomb from Champion.  Leo tags in and he punches Champion.  Leo with a punch and Patrick is tagged in.  They hit a double head butt and a double diving head butt for a near fall.

Patrick with a punch and an arm bar.  Champion and Patrick both hit clotheslines and both men are down.  Essex and Vinny get on the apron and the referee sends them both to the back.  Day tags in and he gets a near fall on a rollup.  Patrick and Leo work over Chip but Day with a kick and Murder One with a cutter.  Day with a round kick to Patrick.  Champion punches day and slams him for a near fall.  Champion with a short arm clothesline for a near fall.  Murder One sends Champion into the corner.  Day kicks Amir and Murder One hits a Mafia Kick.  Gabe with a choke breaker.  Gabe with a Death Valley Driver to Day and Greyson with a 630 splash for the three count.

Winners:  Greyson Lacey and Gabe Lacey

Jason Cade is asked about being in the finals against Jon Davis and whether he is ready.  Cade says he is ready.  He is not afraid of Jon Davis.  He says tonight is the night he has been waiting for.  He is looking forward to getting the trophy and moving on to the Grand Championship.

Jon Davis is asked about facing Jason Cade and Cade tries for a knee off the apron but Davis sees him coming.  Cade throws a series of chairs at Davis and then he hits a plancha.  Cade wants the match started.

Match Number Eight:  Style Battle Season 1 Episode 3 Finals:  Jason Cade versus Jon Davis

Davis gets back into the ring and the referee checks on him.  The bell rings and Cade with a running knee into the corner followed by a flying boot.  Cade with a reverse rana for a near fall.  Cade with forearms but Davis will not be Irish whipped.  Cade with a handspring codebreaker and a super kick for a near fall.  Cade with a figure four head scissors.  Davis escapes the head scissors and Cade screams for good reason because Davis picks Cade up for a delayed vertical suplex like he weighed nothing.  Cade tries to get out of the ring, but Davis pulls him back into the ring.  Davis grabs Cade by the face.

Davis chops Cade and Cade finds a way to stay in the ring.  Davis chops Cade off the apron.  Davis goes to the floor as Cade tries to crawl away, but just like every horror movie, Davis is able to catch up to Cade.  Davis with another chop.  Davis presses Cade over his head and drops him chest first onto the apron.  Davis with a head butt.  Davis follows with a chop.  Cade with a kick and a DDT.  Cade gets a near fall.  Cade with forearms to Davis and he gets a near fall. 

Cade with a chin lock but Davis snap mares him over.  Davis with a forearm followed by a chop.  Cade sends Davis over the top rope to the floor.  Cade goes for a slingshot rana but Davis catches Cade and Cade is power bombed onto the apron.  Cade gets in just before the ten count.  Davis sends Cade to the floor again.  Cade is sent into the side bar and the referee continues his count.  Cade struggles to get back into the ring and he gets back just before ten another time.  Davis gets a near fall.

Davis sends Cade over the top rope but he lands on the apron.  Cade with enzuigiris and Davis with a forearm to knock Cade to his knees.  Davis sets for the Gorilla superplex but Cade lands on his feet and he hits a super kick to the back of the legs followed by a double stomp but Cade cannot capitalize.  Cade gets to his feet so the referee stops his count.  Cade with a back heel kick and Davis with a back body drop.  Cade with a super kick and Pedigree but he can only get a near fall.

Davis with a choke slam for a near fall.  Davis picks up Cade and Cade goes for a handspring move but Davis catches Cade on his shoulders.  Cade with a rana and super kicks followed by Cadeian Destroyer for a near fall.  Cade has a look of fear on his face as Davis gets up.  Davis with a jab and Cade goes down.  Cade with a cutter and both men are down.  Cade puts his arm over Davis and Davis kicks out at two.  Cade waits for Davis to get up.  Davis with a power bomb into a German suplex and short arm clothesline for the three count.

Winner:  Jon Davis

Jon is interviewed by Trevin Adams.  Trevin says that Jon Davis, as a former FIP champion and Style Battle Champion, is the final entrant in the match.

Martin Stone stops by and he says on April 2nd, he will slap seven bells of crap into Davis when they meet for the Florida Heritage Title.  He will beat Jon the third time they meet.  

Jon says he will win the WWN Championship on the 1st and he will win back the Florida Heritage Title from Stone to bring the title back to the United States.

Jon says that thirteen years of traveling everywhere culminates on April 1st.
