WEIGHING IN ON ORTON NOT WANTING TO BE BOTHERED WHILE HE WORKED OUT, BAYLEY’S PROMO, REPLACING MICHAEL COLE AND MORE

Didn't it seem like Bayley was on the verge of a really good promo Monday, tapping into real emotion & her lifelong dream, only to get ruined with the cheesy poems?

She ain’t in NXT anymore.  She is in Vince’s world now.  She has to speak the verbiage that they give her.  I am with you, I liked the way she was booked in NXT far better, but she ain’t in Florida any more Toto.

I just read where Randy Orton told a fan to F#$%K Off when the fan asked for a photo.  What's the problem with taking 2 minutes to take a photo?  Randy, as well as other celebrities, chose a position where people want to get close to them and take photos.  Furthermore, these people pay to come and see you, not to mention they help pay your salary, which in turn allows you to live the lifestyle that you live.  It would have been much easier to say..."Wait until I finish working out."  I get that it rude to interrupt someone while they're eating, but some people become star struck and loose their mind when they see a celebrity, especially a wrestler; and I also get that everyone's personality is different, but when you are a celebrity you should expect that people want to see you, and without them you would be nothing.  If you take celebrities "wrestlers" off of TV or the movie screen they would get less attention than a Walmart greeter.

Well in the gym you have no idea if that guy ever spent a penny on wrestling.  If Orton wanted to give an autograph, fine.  He didn’t.  Keep in mind what he does for a living.  He wrestles.  Part of the preparation to wrestle is to work out.  Some people (like myself) like to keep on a certain pace when they are in the gym and don’t want to be bothered.  Had this been an autograph session or even entry into the Arena, I could see it more.  But the guy was preparing for work, on his own time.  To me autographs are purely at the discretion of the worker in that situation.  And the guy snapping a picture across the gym just comes across as creepy to me.

Is WWE grooming Byron Saxton to succeed Michael Cole as the lead announcer of RAW?

I see no world where that happens.  Saxton is not a play-by-play guy.  Mauro Ranallo?  Tom Phillips?  I could see that.  Saxton?  No.

Will we see Kurt Angle wrestle again in a WWE ring, and if so, do you think he has a few great matches left in him?  As a follow up question, if he doesn't wrestle at this year's Wrestlemania, do you think a good way to use him on that show is to have him endorse American Alpha by accompanying them to the ring and cornering them during their match?

I could see him doing something again in the ring for WWE.  I just think they should be careful.  He is nearing fifty years old and has a history of neck issues, plus is recovering from addiction.  Taking bumps, which cause pain, may not be the best thing for Angle the person to do at this stage of his life, especially given how far he has come.  I could see him being used, I just hope it’s with discretion.

Far be it from me to defend WWE Creative, but I can't grasp the person who asked (nor yours) angst over the John Cena-Baron Corbin match.  John Cena is being positioned as the top contender to the WWE title.  Therefore, as has been the case in the past when you've had two people wanting to be the #1 contender but they only wanted to focus on one guy, Cena has to defeat the other guy.  You could make the argument that the match wasn't long enough and Corbin didn't get enough offense in, that the match itself was too short and poorly booked.  But if the goal was to set Cena as the one top contender, I don't get what the problem is.  Unless it's just more smart fan dislike of John Cena.

That could be.  I just took it more as, “Why even do the match at all?”  It would have been very easy to have Corbin be the guy that has to wait his turn to get the winner of the feud.  I would have preferred hat myself.  As you said, if they were going to do the match it should have been longer and more even.  They dropped the ball there.
