While appearing on the FOX Sports Wrestling Compadres podcast, Triple H confirmed that there are plans for a women's tournament, noting that they are trying to find the right place, timing-wise, to hold the tournament. They are currently looking at doing it this summer.
As we have previously reported, the company has been scouting talent for some time. There were initial plans to hold the tournament in the first quarter of 2017 but pushed them back.
