Kenny Omega is advertised for a 1/28 date for Hugo Savinovich's Chile Wrestling Superstar promotion's event "Superplex" in Santiago, Chile Wrestling Superstar (Hugo Savinovich's promotion). The Facebook page for the promotion/event is www.facebook.com/wrestling.superstart.oficial. Although contractually he could not appear, there continues to be speculation that Omega will be in the Royal Rumble. Obviously this booking flies in the face of that. It's interesting to note that we've heard nothing in the way of WWE negotiating with Omega as of this writing. As I wrote several weeks ago, the real tale will be told if he doesn't appear for New Japan by their New Beginning events. Omega appeared this morning on The Taz Show for an interview. A Twitter account @WresSocietyX has been launched to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the MTV promotion, which lasted one season.
The 2017 NYWC Psycho Circus, the promotion's biggest event of the year will be Saturday 2/22 in Deer Park, Long Island.
