Sasha/Charlotte, Kendrick/Perkins, Corbin/Ziggler, etc. For what positive reason does WWE subject us to reruns over and over again?
Back in the old days, that was called a feud. If you run through every fresh match in a month or two, you have nothing for the future.
Is there any reason why episodes of NXT prior to February 2014 aren't on the Network? From what I recall, NXT in its current iteration came about in mid-2012.
Usually it’s due to them not having them ready for broadcast. They may need to upgrade them and/or make sure they are properly catalogued. They own them so that not an issue.
So what's up with the tape on Cesaro's shoulder? Is it actual athletic tape for an injury, or is it just a gimmick?
It’s an actual athletic tape that is currently in vogue called Kinesiology Tape. It is supposed to help with injuries.
You would think that by now, WWE Creative would realize you can't go home again. So why do you think they are pushing so hard for a Shield reunion? Have they forgotten all the flubs when they tried it in the past with others? Do they think we have forgotten what Rollins did to Reigns, do they think that Reigns has forgotten? I watched them fist-bump after their match together, and was just dumbfounded. So what is your opinion as to what is coming down the pike for them?
I know better than to think that. WWE loves trying to go home again. They do it all the time. And they often don’t let the heinous things that the characters have done stop them. Sometimes, they don’t even address that they even happened.
I'm a fan of Kevin Owens, I enjoy his promos, and at one time I enjoyed the creative nature of his matches. However, "Universal Champion" Kevin Owens has left a lot to be desired. I know that, for whatever reason, Vince feels that a heel champion should be a coward, but at least in that role they can cheat to win. But once again, the booking has made the champion look weak and given me no interest in watching a PPV match involving him anymore, because even if he wins, in my eyes now the UC is a notch below the US championship. I honestly can't think of a time when the "champion(s)" in WWE have been booked to look this weak. AJ Styles has been booked stronger than Owens, but that's not saying much. If you only watched the matches and didn't know anything about who is the champion vs challenger, I'm convinced that you'd think Owens was a mid-carder at best. I guess my question is, at what point do you think Vince gets the message and uses logic with booking?
Sadly, no time soon. It has been going on so long that if it were going to ever change, it would have by now. But, it hasn’t. So other than something huge, like say USA Network getting really angry with the state of the product and playing hardball with WWE, I don’t see any change happening the near future. And I agree with you. Kevin Owens is awesome and could be a great heel, in the vein of The Revival. But instead, he is booked to be a coward who needs help to win any match. He deserves so much better.
