HOLY FOLEY RETURNING, NXT IN ACTION TONIGHT, SHAWN MICHAELS, WWE 2K17 AND MORE

By Mike Johnson on 2017-01-12 10:32:00

The second half of the "Holy Foley" reality series will be added to the WWE Network VOD section following the Royal Rumble.  That has been the plan for some time.

WWE NXT is running both Indianapolis at the Egyptian Room and Tampa, Florida at University of Tampa tonight. Indianapolis will feature Bobby Roode, Shinsuke Nakamura, Samoa Joe, Asuka, DIY, Roderick Strong, Billie Kaye, Nikki Cross, The Authors of Pain, Tye Dillinger and Ember Moon.  If anyone is attending either show, we are seeking live reports.

Shawn Michaels has been making the media rounds this week to promote the WWE Studios film "The Resurrection of Gavin Stone", including an appearance on the 700 Club.  Michaels was in NYC yesterday for interviews.  The film opens theatrically on 1/20.

Michaels, by the way, is slated to be at the 2017 Royal Rumble.

The new official name for the Nassau Coliseum is "Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum presented by New York Community Bank."   The venue, which was renovated to the tune of $130 million, opened for a media tour yesterday.  The NY Post covered the media tour at this link.  The venue will now seat around 15,000 fans, down from 18,000.  All signs are that WWE will begin running the venue again after it opens in April.

The latest trailer for The Rock's "Baywatch" film has been released:
