Deadline.com reported today that Universal Pictures have acquired the feature film comedy "The Pact" which will Star John Cena. The film is planned for a 4/28/18 release theatrically, just a few weeks after Wrestlemania 34 in New Orleans.
The film tells the story of the parents of three teenage girls who have made a pact to lose their virginity on Prom Night. United, the parents then move forward to attempt to prevent that from happening.
There is no word when the film will begin production but obviously a lead role in a feature film is going to require Cena to take some time off from his work on the Smackdown brand.
