As had been rumored in recent weeks, WWE's Wrestlemnania 34 in 2018 will take place in New Orleans at the Superdome.
WWE officially confirmed the news, blasting it across their social media platforms this afternoon.
The official date is 4/8/18, so WWE will descend upon the Big Easy the first week of April that year.
WWE held Wrestlemania 30 there in 2014, headlined by Daniel Bryan capturing the unified WWE and World championships against Randy Orton and Batista. At the time, since it was the first Wrestlemania to be seen on the WWE Network (which had launched just weeks before), it was touted as the most seen Wrestlemania in history.
Now, just four years later, WWE will return to the city, the quickest turnaround to return to a city since Wrestlemania graduated into running Dome stadiums in 2007.
