As PWInsider.com broke several weeks ago, New Japan Pro Wrestling officially announced they would be running G-1 Climax events in the "Los Angeles" area this summer. These will be the promotion's first events that they themselves have promoted in the United States, as opposed to an American company handling the promotion, such as Jersey All Pro Wrestling did several years ago.
As we have previously reported, there will be two tournament dates at the Long Beach Convention Center.
