Does the 2017 Royal Rumble winner get to choose which world champion they would want to face at Wrestlemania 33 or the winning wrestler’s brand determines which world champion he faces at Wrestlemania 33?
It hasn’t been announced yet but what makes the most sense to me is that whoever wins it faces that brand’s champion. It makes sense and is the most fair.
Wrestlemania 33 rumored matches include: Undertaker vs. Cena, Shaq vs. Big Show, Strowman vs. Reigns, HHH vs. Rollins. Thoughts on those matches if they were to take place?
HHH vs. Rollins has to happen. They have unfinished business. Shaq and Show? I am fine with that. Taker and Cena was on the card last year so that makes perfect sense too. And Reigns and Strowman could be very interesting. I have no issue with any of them.
Why is Tye Dillinger in a funk in NXT right now? Cody Rhodes mentioned in an interview that his father believed Tye should have been on the main roster already. Do you agree with “The Dream”?
Tye is really good and I think he deserves a chance to show what he can do. He has gotten a lot better over time. Given the angle that they did on NXT this week, I think he will be getting that chance in NXT soon. I think that he should get a nice run in NXT before moving up to the main roster. From a work standpoint though I agree that he is ready now. I want him to get some time to build his character so that there is a body of work to show creative up on the main roster.
Jack Gallagher has been a hot topic of conversation due to his performance in the CWC. Future Cruiserweight Champion in your eyes?
I see no reason why not. He is really good, unique and can work. What more can they ask for?
I feel like I am watching reruns! Kalisto/Corbin, Reigns/Owens, Jericho/Rollins. I can't even remember how many times I have seen these matches; how many more times do you think Creative will make us watch them before they figure enough is enough and have them become totally meaningless?
The times have changed, as have creative. In the old days, feuds went on for a while. But in the old days, there was more violence and fisticuffs and less ha ha going along with them. Given the “entertainment” aspect of the feuds, I agree, they do see like they are like the movie Groundhog Day at times.
