205 LIVE REPORT: TITLE REMATCH, GALLAGHER/DAIVARI REMATCH, IS THE FOX CURSE LIKE THE SI CURSE?

We start off this week's show with a look at Rich Swann's victory last week against Brian Kendrick to win the Cruiserweight Title.

We are in Houston, Texas and your announcers are Mauro Ranallo, Austin Aries, and Corey Graves.

We see Alicia Fox wishing Cedric Alexander luck before he goes to the ring and she gives him a kiss.

Match Number One: Noam Dar versus Cedric Alexander

They lock up and Cedric with a clean break.  Dar with a side head lock.  Dar with a side head lock take down.  Dar with a wrist lock and he works on the arm.  Dar with an arm bar.  Alexander tries to send Dar off the ropes but Dar holds on.  Dar with an arm wringer but Alexander rolls through.  Alexander with a handstand head scissors followed by a drop kick.  Dar drops down under the apron when Alexander sets for a dive.  Alexander with a baseball slide.

Alexander sends Dar into the ring and he connects with a forearm.   Dar with a cutter on the top rope followed by a Divorce Court.  Dar with a forearm to the shoulder and an arm bar.  Dar with shots to the arm and Alexander with a kick to the back.  Alexander with chops but Alexander with a kick to the leg and he gets a near fall.  Dar with a key lock and he pulls the elbow pad off to add more damage.  Alexander with punches but Dar with a double thrust.  Dar with a head butt to the midsection and he follows with a European uppercut for a near fall.  

Dar kicks Alexander and chokes him in the corner.  Dar pulls at the arm while in the ropes and Dar kicks Alexander in the arm.  Dar with punches while Cedric tries to defend himself.  Dar pulls the arm while in the ropes.  Alexander with a forearm but Dar with a double thrust.  Dar blocks a sunset flip attempt and he slams the injured arm into the mat and gets a near fall.  Dar with an arm bar. 

Dar continues to work on the arm but Alexander with a forearm.  Alexander with an uppercut and a running forearm.  Alexander with another forearm and he blocks a kick and connects with an elbow.  Alexander with a shoulder into the corner and a kick from the apron.  Alexander with a cross body for a near fall.  Alexander cannot get Dar up for the Lumbar Check and Dar with a near fall.  Alexander with a kick.  Dar kicks Alexander when Cedric goes for a handspring move.  Dar with a Fujiwara Arm Bar and Alexander tries to get to the ropes.  Dar hits Alexander in the arm and he returns to the Fujiwara arm bar.  Alexander with a rollup for a near fall.  Dar runs into a boot from Alexander.

Dar avoids a split legged moonsault and Alexander lands on his feet.  Alexander is sent into the ring post and turnbuckles.  Dar with a running kick for the three count.

Winner:  Noam Dar

After the match, Noam Dar is asked about winning his 205 Live debut.  He says he is 23 years old and he signed a big money contract with the WWE.  He says he wants to dedicate his victory to a special lady in the back.  He wants to dedicate it to Cedric's girlfriend Alicia Fox.

We take a look at Mustafa Ali.  He says you are making assumptions about him.  The minute he walks out, he does not say a word but the crowd boos him when they hear his name.  He is going to change all of that.  There is no doubt in his mind or uncertainty in his voice.  He says he is the best.  He can work Strong Style.  He can work Lucha Libre.  Want to get technical with him, he will tie you in a knot.  If you don't believe him, try him.

There is never any pressure when it comes to him.  He knows what he can do.  He has been knocked down and told to stay down, but here he is.  He has one goal in mind.  That is to outperform everyone in the Cruiserweight Division.

Rich Swann is in his locker room and TJ Perkins shows up and he wishes TJ some luck.  TJ says that Swann got lucky on Raw.

Swann says it is better to be lucky than good some times.

We go to commercial.

Match Number Two:  Ariya Daivari versus Jack Gallagher

Gallagher goes for the leg and he applies an ankle lock.  Gallagher kicks Daivari away and he works on the leg and he tries for a surfboard.  Gallagher drives the knees into the mat.  Daivari with a double leg take down and Gallagher goes to the ropes and does a headstand on the turnbuckles and he kicks Daivari away.  Daivari kicks Gallagher in the leg and connects with a series of elbow drops to the knee.  Daivari puts the leg on the ropes and drops down onto the leg.  Daivari continues to work on the leg.

Daivari gets a near fall.  Daivari sends the leg into the apron and then into the ring post to do more damage to the leg.  Daivari gets a near fall.  Gallagher escapes a slam attempt and Gallagher with forearms and a European uppercut.  Daivari with a drop toe hold and he gets a near fall.  Daivari gets a near fall.  Daivari continues to work on the knee.  Gallagher kicks Daivari and then he escapes by kicking him away.  Gallagher with an inside cradle for a near fall followed by a crucifix for a near fall.  Gallagher blocks a kick and hits a head butt for a near fall.  

Daivari stops Gallagher wtih a rake of the eyes followed by a forearm and a boot to the knee.  Daivari goes to the turnbuckles and he hits a frog splash for the three count.

Winner:  Ariya Daivari

We take a look at Lince Dorado and he is coming to 205 Live soon.

TJ Perkins makes his way to the ring to join commentary for the main event.

Brian Kendrick is stopped and he is asked if Rich Swann has his number and if that will affect his chance of winning back the title.  Brian says he lost last week but his head was in other places.  He was not as focused last week. Tonight, he is focused and he is going to win back his championship. Rich dedicated his win to his mom.  Rich is a great man.  Brian says when he wins, he will be dedicating his win to himself.

Match Number Three:  Rich Swann versus Brian Kendrick for the WWE Cruiserweight Title

They lock up and Kendrick with a wrist lock.  Swann with a reversal.  Kendrick with a reversal into an arm bar.  Kendrick turns it into a hammer lock and he bridges over to add more pressure.  Swann kips up and he applies a hammer lock into a side head lock.  Swann with a lateral press for a near fall.  Swann flips over Kendrick but Swann misses a drop kick.  Kendrick misses a knee and Swann with a drop kick for a near fall.  Kendrick goes to the floor.

Kendrick sends Swann into the ringside barrier and then he hits Sliced Bread #2 on the ringside barrier but Kendrick limps after landing on his knee.  Kendrick gets a near fall.  Kendrick with crossfaces to Swann and a reverse chin lock.  Kendrick with a kick followed by a German suplex into the Captain's Hook.  Swann gets to the ropes and Kendrick releases the hold.  Swann with a back heel kick that sends Kendrick to the floor.  Swann goes to the turnbuckles and hits a Phoenix Splash onto Kendrick.  Swann sets for a Gibson Driver and he hits it and gets a near fall.  

Swann sets for the standing 450 but Kendrick with a Victory Roll into a near fall.  Swann misses a round kick but he connects with a slap and hits a Michinoku Driver for a near fall.  Swann.  Swann with a super kick to Kendrick and he sets for a power bomb but Kendrick with a rollup.  Kendrick with a kick and Swann with an enzuigiri.  Both men are down.  Swann with punches.  Kendrick with a Regalplex and he gets a near fall.  Swann blocks the Captain's Hook and he snap mares Kendrick.  Kendrick locks in the Captain's Hook.  Swann tries to get to the ropes and Kendrick rolls Swann into the center of the ring.  Swann with a rollup for a near fall.  

Swann gets to the ropes again and Kendrick releases the hold.  Kendrick with a choke in the ropes and Swann pulls Kendrick over the top rope and he lands on the apron. Kendrick kicks Swann on the apron and he sets for Sliced Bread off the ring post but Swann sends Kendrick into the ring post and then Swann is sent into the ring post.   Kendrick realizes that Swann is not moving so he tries to pick up Swann.

Swann sends Kendrick into Perkins and Perkins gets up.  Kendrick returns to the ring and Swann hits the spinning back heel kick for the three count.

Winner: Rich Swann

After the match, Kendrick attacks Perkins and kicks him.  Swann punches Kendrick and Perkins goes for a super kick but he hits Swann when Kendrick moves.  Kendrick sends Perkins into the ringside barrier.
