Kellie Skater became the 10th SHIMMER Champion and the 2nd Australian wrestler to win the championship, following Madison Eagles. She is the third wrestler to have won both the SHIMMER Championship and the SHIMMER Tag Team Championship, after Sara Del Rey and Nicole Matthews.

SHIMMER tapes Volumes 89 and 90 on Sunday November 13th at the Berwyn Eagles Club in Berwyn, Illinois - announced for Volume 89 are Kellie Skater defending the SHIMMER Championship against Cat Power, Evie & Heidi Lovelace defending the SHIMMER Tag Team Championship against Tessa Blanchard & Vanessa Kraven, Dulce Garcia vs. Mercedes Martinez, Shazza McKenzie vs. Shayna Baszler in a rematch from Volume 88, and Thunderkitty vs. Taeler Hendrix in a rematch from Volume 87.
