10/23 INSANE CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING 10th ANNIVERSARY EVENT IN GLASGOW, SCOTLAND RESULTS & SPOILERS

By Jonathan Armak on 2016-10-24 14:20:00

Hey everybody, PWInsider with spoilers from last night’s Fight Club taping which also served as the 10 Year Anniversary show for Insane Championship Wrestling. It was filmed on October 23rd, at The Garage in Glasgow, Scotland. I would like to put it out there that at the end of this article is a note from me to the great readers of this website. As always I would like to thank Wrestle Ropes UK for providing the following spoilers from Sunday’s show.

The following are spoilers for the Fight Club episodes running over the next few weeks:

The show began with Mark Dallas announcing that due to Mick Foley being required to attend WWE ‘Survivor Series’, he would no longer be appearing at Fear and Loathing IX. Red Lightning and Jack Jester came to the ring and began harassing Dallas about who the replacement could be, suggesting The Brooklyn Brawler, Lanny Poffo, The Red Rooster, and The Boogyman. Almost looks like the Boogyman as the lights begin to flicker Red and black (it’s not him). The video screen shows that there is indeed going to be a replacement for Mick Foley, someone who will be the special enforcer at Fear and Loathing IX, current WWE star and former ICW Zero-G Champion; Finn Balor. Jack Jester (who had many wars with Balor, who wrestled under his real name Fergal Devitt during his ICW tenure) is not pleased.

Joe Hendry was on his way to the ring for a match, but Davey Boy attacked him from behind, and choked him out. The match never begins.

Andy Wild defeated Darkside, Dickie Divers and William Grange

Order of Elimination: Dickie Divers, William Grange, Darkside

Winner Faces Ricochet at Fear And Loathing IX

Lewis Girvan defeated Kenny Williams

During the match, Lionheart gave a steel chair to Kenny Williams to use on Lewis Girvan. Kenny Williams refused and threw it from the ring.

Viper called out Carmel. Both women traded insults in the ring with Viper threatening to further injure Camel’s knee before tell her she was “not fucking worth it”.

Winner Chooses the Stipulation of BT Gunn vs. Stevie Boy at Fear and Loathing IX

The NAK (BT Gunn and Chris Renfrew) defeated The Filthy Generation (Stevie Boy and Kay Lee Ray)

BT Gunn gets to choose the stipulation, and chooses a casket match at Fear and Loathing IX

Jackie Polo defeated Aaron Echo

Following the match, Jackie Polo offered some words of wisdom to Aaron Echo advising him to ditch The Rich Kids if he wants to progress in ICW. Jackie Polo then delivered multiple scoop slams to Aaron Echo before putting him through a table.

Stairway to Heaven Qualifier

Liam Thomson defeated Chris Ridgeway to qualify for the ICW Zero-G Championship Stairway To Heaven match at Fear and Loathing

Following the match, Christopher Saynt attacked Liam Thomson.

Lionheart presented Kenny: This Is Your Life. Afterwards Lionheart informed everyone that there was no man that could take his ICW Zero-G Championship.

Red Lightning and Wolfgang came to the ring. A Trent Seven impersonator came to the ring and forfeited Seven championship match at ‘Fear & Loathing IX’. Trent Seven appeared on the video screens and informed Wolfgang that he would see him on November 20th. Wolfgang then attacked the fake Trent Seven. Red Lightning states that if Trent Seven wins then Insane Championship Wrestling will close down. Red Lightning then announced that Bram and Drew Galloway were the latest members on Team Black Label. Mark Dallas then confirmed that the final three members on his team were DCT, Grado and Sha Samuels.

The Marauders (Iestyn Rees, Wild Boar, Mike Bird) defeated DCT, Sha Samuels and Grado

During the match, Jack Jester and Kid Fite interfered on behalf of The Marauders

Following the match, Chris Renfrew came to the ring. All four members of Team Dallas then fought with each other. Chris Renfrew then informed Mark Dallas that he could either have him or Grado on the team, not both.

This was the end of the ICW 10th Anniversary Show/Fight Club Taping.

Fear and Loathing IX will be available to stream live via Fite TV on November 20th, and the event will be posted in its entirety the following day on ICW On Demand. It’s only 6.99 a month, and you can catch every show the company is running on the Road To Fear and Loathing Tour as well as every episode of Fight Club that are setting the stage for the biggest show in ICW’s 10 year history. I’m telling you, it pays for itself. ICW On Demand also features original programming such as “Have I got Chair Shots for You”, a Whose Line Is It Anyways inspired improv comedy show featuring ICW Wrestlers, Total Recall which has wrestlers sit and recall a famous ICW match from their past, History of ICW which chronicles the company’s history year by year, the ICW Podcast which is similar to the Steve Austin Podcast’s on WWE Network with Simon Cassidy interviewing different wrestlers each episode, and much much more.

Note from the editor: It has been a long year and I suffered a loss in the family after months of them fighting against cancer. That being said my apologies to readers of this website, Mark Dallas, and ICW for not providing the coverage that they deserve over the past few months. This is the second time I have posted a note in this vein but at that time it seemed things would turn around, however things have panned out the way they have. That being said, we are on our way to The Hydro and PWInsider will be providing coverage of everything that happens as we head closer to November 20th. Very proud of ICW for being able to outdo themselves in terms of growth, production, and overall entertainment value in every single show that they produce over this past year. Going from 5000 people as your all time attendance to a potential 13,000 at the Hydro is an accomplishment to behold. I love covering their show, and am thankful to sources like Andy over at Wrestle Ropes UK that help me out because I am not based out of Glasgow to be there at The Garage when the magic happens at these Fight Club tapings. Thank you again to the readers for all the positive feedback I have received for the coverage to date. I hope to provide some good reads in the same vein as Mike Johnson’s “Looking At” articles that are always both educational, and fun to read. -Jonathan
