NJPW have announced the participants in the Super Jr Tag Tournament, which kicks off on October 21st. The quarter-finals will be:
*Angel De Oro & Titan (CMLL) vs. Roppongi Vice
*Jushin Thunder Liger & Tiger Mask IV vs. Ryusuke Taguchi & Fuego (CMLL)
*Ricochet & David Finlay vs. Will Ospreay & Gedo
*The Young Bucks vs. ACH & Taiji Ishimori
ACH and Ishimori recently won the NOAH Jr tag league and will be part of the entire Road to Power Struggle tour. The semi finals of this tournament take place on October 30th
The card announced for Power Struggle on November 5th so far is as follows:
*Super Jr Tag Tournament Final
*IWGP Tag Team Championship: Tama Tonga & Tanga Loa vs. Tomohiro Ishii & YOSHI-HASH
*IWGP Jr Heavyweight Championship: BUSHI vs. KUSHIDA
*NEVER Openweight Championship: Katsuyori Shibata vs. EVIL
*Hiroshi Tanahashi vs. SANADA
IWGP Intercontinental Championship: Tetsuya Naito vs. Michael Elgin
NJPW stars will be taking part in two big Pro Wrestling NOAH cards on October 22nd & 23rd.
On the 23rd in Yokohama, Naomichi Marufuji & Toru Yano defend the GHC Tag Team Championship against Togi Makabe & Tomaoki Honma and Katsuyori Shibata will take on Go Shiozaki in a non-title match. A win here for Shiozaki will see him earn a NEVER title opportunity.
If you have not yet seen yesterday's King of Pro Wrestling event, it was one of the best NJPW shows of the year with the final three matches being absolutely must-see.
