After watching the great Miz vs Dolph Ziggler match and the performance those two put on, I wonder if WWE gives out locker room bonuses to certain stars for the effort?  UFC gives out their disclosed performances of the night awards for knockouts, submissions, etc, but they also give undisclosed back room bonuses for stellar performances (such as Matt Hughes' pummeling of Royce Grace).  Does WWE ever reward their performers with a bonus, or compensate them for a death defying match like Mick Foley's cell spot?

They used to give them PPV bonuses, which were at the discretion of management.  With the advent of the Network, those have gone away.  I haven’t heard of them giving out bonuses so if it is happening, it is being done on the down low.

You recently answered a question regarding Brock Lesnar being Paul Heyman's only success that he has managed.  What about his run with CM Punk?

Oh, he was great with CM Punk too.  I was referencing where Heyman was the mouthpiece.  Punk did a great job of promos on his own.

In the heyday of ECW, how much do you think they could have drawn at the Philly Spectrum?

For the right show, with the right matches, I think due to the proximity to NY and MD they could have broken the 6,000 plus they did in Chicago.

Oh Nooo! Goldberg's coming back? And may fight Brock Lesnar AGAIN? This can't be good. Your thoughts?

If it is just an extra match, OK, whatever.  If they expect it to be like a Rock vs. Cena type of bout, I think they are off base.  Goldberg’s last WWE run was OK at best.  Hell, his post streak run in WCW was OK at best.  And now he is pushing 50 years old and has been inactive for over a decade.  My take is that they are booking this as a mega dream match, it won’t deliver the way that they think it will.

I hate to even ask, but what are the chances that Emmalina is WWE's attempt to begin integrating LGBTQ characters (as Stephanie McMahon indicated it would) and also stay topical by making her the 'reason' Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are divorcing? That is, Emmalina is Emma and Angelina Jolie's 'couple name,' or at least that's WWE's thinly veiled implication? I really hope that's not the case.  Regardless, what's the point in scrapping the heel character she worked so hard to create in NXT almost immediately upon returning to the main roster, just to replace it with (what appears to be) a generic, bikini blonde character? It's at least better than the techno dancing goofball character, I suppose.

They are definitely playing off of the split between Pitt and Jolie with the new name.  I hope the chances of them making her the reason are nil because that is the kind of fad gimmick that will lose steam very quickly, if it even gets any to begin with.  I am with you.  I like heel Emma too.  Hopefully we get to see her again.
