WWE announced this morning that Paige,24, has been suspended for the second time since August under their Wellness Policy, which means the former WWE Divas champion is now suspended for 60 days.
Paige, who has been out of action with a neck issue that would likely require surgery, was suspended in August for 30 days, making her the first woman suspended in the six year history of the WWE Wellness Policy.
According to statements she has made on social media, Paige's first suspension was invoked by Aegis Science on her birthday 8/17, (who oversee the WWE Wellness Policy) after it was requested she submit to a drug test in Florida, where she resides. Paige was not at home (it is believed she was out of State) and traveled to take the test, which she stated she passed, but due to not taking it by the end of the alloted deadline, she was automatically suspended under the letter of the law of the policy. Her statement at the time is below:

The day before, 8/16 Del Rio was also suspended by the company. He would later receive a release and exit WWE.
WWE's official statement on today's suspension: "WWE has suspended Saraya-Jade Bevis (Paige) for 60 days effective immediately, for her second violation of the company’s talent wellness policy. "
Although she has been out of action, Paige is still slated to be part of the latest season of WWE reality series "Total Divas" when it bows this November on E! Whether her suspensions play into the series' plots this season remain to be seen, although a press release last week did note that Paige's injury would be covered. Interestingly, a trailer for the season did not feature any footage of Paige.
Paige's latest suspension will end on Wednesday, 12/9. It should be noted that based on WWE Wellness Policy, another suspension would result in her immediate termination from WWE. If that happens, Paige would be unable to return to the company for at least a year and would only be hired back after passing a pre-contract screening, would be subject to mandatory unannounced tests for at least a year and would maintain her two "previous strikes."
Paige has been backstage at Raw in recent weeks, but has not appeared on camera for months.
Paige and Del Rio were spotted in NYC last night as Del Rio is doing promotional work tomorrow, including an appearance on CBS Radio's The Taz Show. It will be interesting to see whether her suspension comes up during the media jaunt.
