UNDERTAKER THREATENING TO DROP MICHAELS, FAVE VENUES, MASTER G, TNA REPORTING AND MORE

By Mike Johnson on 2016-10-06 10:00:00

I remember reading about how the Undertaker sat at the gorilla position at Wrestlemania 14 during the main event (Shawn Michaels vs. Steve Austin). Said this about Michaels, "If he does not drop the belt I am going to drop him."  Is there any truth to that?

While some people deny it happening, I have heard from more than a few people who were there that Undertaker did indeed make it clear that if Michaels tried to pull anything during the main event and not lose the title that night, he was going to take matters into his own hands.  Whether the quote is legitimate or not, the meaning behind it was.

Your reporting on the TNA situation has been top notch, but I am curious whether any TNA wrestlers ever get mad at you over it?

I've heard from a few who were not happy I reported what happened in Dixie Carter's locker room meeting, but they were not mad at me over writing about the TNA situation, since they, like everyone, want answers.

Do you ever get mad at some of the stupid things being reported about TNA?  Last week some tool wrote that TNA was canceling flights and even accused you of spinning for TNA, yet this week it's obvious everyone is there.    Obviously things aren't great there right now, but they don't deserve lies to be reported about them and you don't deserve to be knocked for doing your job, correctly.

I don't get mad.  I just get sad for fans who read things like that and think those stories are legitimate, because the audience never deserves to be lied to.

After JYD left Mid-South, I know they tried a few different names to replace him on top.  I recall Butch Reed being one and I seem to remember a guy named G-Man?  Am I crazy?

You are thinking of George Wells, aka Master G.

Is the new Roddy Piper book written in a way to protect kayfabe?

No.

Where is Koko B. Ware these days?

He still lives in Union City, TN and at times, still makes occasional wrestling and convention appearances.

Best wrestling venue ever?

Man, that is a hard one.  For me personally, it's a draw between the original Madison Square Garden prior to the 2011 renovations and the ECW Arena.
