Sunday September 25, Championship Wrestling from Hollywood taped episodes
The event began with two dark, untelevised matches.
Both Maxwell Jacob and Dylan Bostic made their CWFH debuts to begin the event. Dylan Bostic used every dirty trick he could think of (gouging eyes, leveraging the ropes for a pin, etc) but in the end Jacob hit an impressive handspring front neckbreaker to secure the pinfall.
Aussie standout Chris Vice continued his American Residency at CWFH with another impressive, largely one-sided beat-down of Ryan Kidd which ended when Kidd attempted to come off the top with a flying cross-body and Vice rolled through, carried his opponent onto his feet and hit the Vice Driver.
Episode #282
Astro Viajero and Austin Harmon battled to No Contest due to outside interference
Joined by the entirety of PAC-3 (Dicky Mayer, Troy McGuire and Coach Flexo), Dan Joseph took on Julius Coleman. Julius gave Dan a run for his money but PAC-3’s interference proved to be too much and Dan picked up the victory.
At Milestone, Taylor attempted to unmask Espiritu during their 8-man tag team match. Taylor seemed to be trying to be a bit more zen, practicing yoga poses and breathing and even attempting to apologize via handshake before their match began. Taylor struggled to keep his anger under control, but was able to summon enough to pick up the pinfall victory after a strong kick to Espiritu's head.
Still seething from his controversial defeat at Milestone, Tito set about taking out his frustrations on Big Duke. He wasn’t the only one with that in mind, DJ Hyde made his way out to distract and spit in the face of Duke giving Tito the opening he needed to hit the Fade To Black and pick up the victory.
Episode #283
A United Wrestling Network dream match pitted Hollywood Heritage Champion, “Pretty” Peter Avalon against CZW Standout DJ Hyde. An exciting match was cut short when DJ Hyde set about sending a message. He grabbed a chair and shoved the ref aside, intent on striking Avalon. But, Big Duke hit the ring to assault Hyde and seconds later, Tito hit the ring to assault Avalon. Duke and Avalon worked together and cleared the ring.
Dicky Mayer defeated Jorel Nelson via pinfall
PAC-3 recruiting season was in full force as the entire squad followed Mayer to the ring for his match against Jorel Nelson. Nelson looked strong early on and even attempted to neutralize PAC-3 by diving on top of them. But, as he climbed to the top rope, Flex hit him with a challenge flag, allowing Mayer to back body drop him off the top rope. Mayer then hit a giant flying headbutt that saw him fly across the entirety of the ring to pick up the pinfall victory.
Kevin Martenson returned, dressed in a lab coat, with test tubes on his fingers and carrying an owl skeleton. Martenson was successful in his debut.
Devin Sparks defeated Shigehiro Irie via pinfall
Accompanied by a much-maligned Jarek 1:20, Bateman defended his championship against former champion Joey Ryan. Ryan frustrated the champion for much of the match, but when it was over, victory belonged to the champion via Death from Above.
