I have seen people complaining that AJ Styles used a low blow before beating Dean Ambrose for the WWE Title, saying it hurt the win.  I don’t see it that way.  What do you think?

I don’t either.  For one thing, AJ is a heel.  Heels cheat.  For another thing, it wasn’t a case of him getting his butt kicked and then using it to win.  He was in control and basically did it because he can.  More importantly, those people complaining seem to forget that Ambrose had crotched AJ on TV and worked over his privates.  It was a storyline continuation to have AJ pay him back.

If the WWE network was around in 2001 when WCW was purchased, do you think the brand would have stayed alive and been given Nitro/PPVs on the network opposed to an angle and incorporating the roster into Raw/SD?

Nope, I don’t.  It was pretty clear at the time that Vince McMahon’s goal was to have his company win the war on both sides of the camera.  I just don’t think he would have suddenly had a change of heart.  ECW was different.  He helped support them financially.  He viewed WCW as the devil that was trying to put him out of business.

I don't understand the point of having both a "Commissioner" and a GM, when they both come out on almost every show. And when Shane came out on SD to make a match for the PPV….wouldn't that be something that Daniel Bryant would do? I mean, what is the point of all this? Are they actually going somewhere with it?

Time will tell.  It does seem redundant at times.  It’s two people doing the work of one.  But they want McMahons on TV as they have usually been good for ratings.

Had the WWE Universal Championship been on SmackDown, would its belt design been blue much like how its current design is the inverted color of the WWE World Title belt?

I believe so.  They want the belts to look similar so that they appear equal in the eyes of the viewers.

Do you know if the WWE has reached out to released stars like Damien Sandow or Cody Rhodes about returning?

Sandow is with TNA.  Rhodes is out doing his own thing.  My understand is that in both of their cases, the way that they were misused is still too fresh in their minds to consider going back to WWE.  That could change down the line, of course.
