We are down to the final eight men. Kota Ibushi, Gran Metalik, Akira Tozawa, Noam Dar, Brian Kendrick, Rich Swann, TJ Perkins, and Zack Sabre Junior. Who will be the man who will become the first CWC winner?
We are in Winter Park, Florida and your announcers are Mauro Ranallo and Daniel Bryan.
Mauro talks about the Ibushi/Alexander Match. Daniel says there were so many good matches in the second round. Daniel mentions Brian Kendrick's win as well as TJ Perkins' victory over Johnny Gargano.
We go to the CWC Control Room and Corey Graves. Corey mentions the mat wrestling styles of Noam Dar and Zack Sabre Junior, the high flying style of Rich Swann, and the style of Kota Ibushi.
Gran Metalik says he is having a good time and he is competing against some of the best wrestlers in the world, but he is able to showcase his Lucha Libre style. He says he tries to be different from everyone else and he says he appreciates the support. He says his motivation is the fans.
Akira Tozawa says his biggest dream is to be in the WWE. To win this tournament is a dream come true. He says he thinks he is the best in the tournament and this will be the first step in taking the WWE by storm. Just one German suplex and everything's great.
Match Number One: Akira Tozawa versus Gran Metalik in a Quarterfinal Match
Metalik with a kick to keep Tozawa away. Tozawa goes for the leg and applies a waist lock into a front face lock. Metalik with a wrist lock and Tozawa with a reversal and single leg take down into a step over toe hold. Metalik reverses into a leg lock. Tozawa with a side head lock and take down. Metalik with a head scissors and Tozawa escapes. They lock up again and both men try for the leverage advantage. Tozawa backs Metalik into the ropes and Tozawa with a kick and each man with an arm drag. They lock up and Tozawa with a side head lock.
Tozawa with a shoulder tackle but Metalik stays on his feet. Tozawa tells Metalik to come off the ropes and he does but Tozawa stays on his feet. Metalik and Tozawa with forearms but Metalik with a drop kick. Metalik with an Irish whip and he is sent to the apron. Metalik with a kick and springboard drop kick. Metalik with a suicide dive and he targets the arm. Both men are down on the floor.
They fight on the floor and both get in before the ten count. Metalik with a springboard cross body for a near fall. Metalik with a modified figure four leg lock. Tozawa tries to get to the ropes and he succeeds. Metalik with a kick to the head and a round kick for a near fall. Metalik with a chop and knee. Metalik goes for a handspring move but Tozawa counters with a drop kick. Tozawa with a bicycle kick to knock Metalik off the apron. Tozawa with a suicide dive onto Metalik.
Tozawa with another suicide dive onto Metalik and Metalik is sent into the guardrails. Tozawa rolls Metalik into the ring and gets a near fall. Tozawa with a slam and back senton for a near fall. Tozawa with a chop and Metalik chops back. They go back and forth and Tozawa does the fake out chop and punches Metalik and gets a near fall. Tozawa chokes Metalik and hits a drop kick in the corner. Tozawa with an Irish whip and he misses an elbow and Metalik with a super kick and then he walks the ropes and hits a missile drop kick followed by a standing shooting star press and he gets a near fall.
Metalik with a springboard back elbow and he gets a near fall. Metalik gets Tozawa on his shoulders but Tozawa gets to his feet. Metalik with a sunset flip but Tozawa rolls through and hits a running boot for a near fall. Tozawa wtih an Irish whip and Tozawa with a running bicycle kick and a Saito Suplex for a near fall. Tozawa runs into a super kick and Metalik uses the ropes for leverage on a drop kick. Metalik with a springboard plancha onto Tozawa. They return to the ring and Metalik with a slam and he goes up top. Metalik goes for a moonsault and Tozawa gets his feet up and then Tozawa gets a near fall.
Both men struggle to get back to their feet. Tozawa puts Metalik on the turnbuckles and he sets for a superplex. Metalik drops Tozawa onto the apron and kicks him. Tozawa goes for a springboard move but Metalik with an enzuigiri and crotches Tozawa. Metalik with a rana and he gets a near fall. Metalik with a chop. Tozawa with a German suplex and Metalik lands on his feet. Tozawa hits a German suplex and he hits the deadlift German suplex but Metalik is able to kick out.
Tozawa goes for another German suplex but he traps the arms. Metalik gets Tozawa up and hits the Metalik Driver for the three count.
Winner: Gran Metalik (Advances to face the winner of Noam Dar versus Zack Sabre Junior)

We are back and Daniel and Mauro talk about the last match and how he thinks the Metalik Driver is the most dangerous move in the tournament.
Daniel says that Brian Kendrick is the hardest worker in the ring and he is rooting for him in this match.
We take a look at Brian Kendrick. He says winning this tournament means everything. Other guys have more chances ahead of them if they do not win. If he does not win, this could be his last chance. It really is all or nothing for him. They want to win this, he needs to win this. His desperation helps him. You don't know what you've got until it's gone. The pressure is him seeing the light dimming. If he does not win, his dream is over.
Kota Ibushi says wrestling is not a job to him, it is more than that to him. He showed the audience what they never saw before. He says he is going to win because he loves wrestling more than anyone else.
Match Number Two: Brian Kendrick versus Kota Ibushi in a Quarterfinal Match
Kendrick pushes Ibushi from behind and he wants Ibushi to come to the floor with him. Kendrick returns to the ring because Ibushi stays in the ring. Kendrick blows a kiss at Ibushi and Ibushi grabs the leg and he connects with forearms. Kendrick with a waist lock but Ibushi with a standing switch. Kendrick with an elbow and Ibushi with a round kick. Kendrick goes to the floor. Ibushi hits the double jump moonsault onto Kendrick on the floor. Ibushi sends Kendrick back into the ring and Kendrick rolls to the floor again. Ibushi goes to the floor and Kendrick sends Ibushi into the guardrails and then he puts Ibushi's foot in the guardrails.
Ibushi with a missile drop kick and he gets a near fall. Ibush with forearms and kicks that send Kendrick to the mat. Ibushi is sent to the apron and he connects with a forearm that sends Kendrick to the apron. Kendrick with a neck breaker onto the turnbuckle and Ibushi falls to the floor. Ibushi with a shoulder but Kendrick kicks the ropes to crotch Ibushi. Kendrick gets a near fall. Kendrick with a cravate. Kendrick holds on to the cravate to prevent a slam. Ibushi with knees to the back and he gets out of the hold.
Ibushi with a drop kick and both men are down. Ibushi runs into a boot and Ibushi with a power slam and moonsault for a near fall. Ibushi with punches and a kick. Kendrick gets his knees up on a standing moonsault and he gets a near fall. Kendrick with a super kick and both men are down. Ibushi with a forearm and Kendrick fires back. Ibushi with the advantage and Kendrick with elbows to the head and a kick. Kendrick hits Sliced Bread #2 but Ibushi kicks out. Kendrick goes to the turnbuckles and he applies a sleeper. Ibushi with elbows and he gets to the mat and Ibushi with a Pele kick and Kendrick is knocked from the turnbuckles to the apron.
Ibushi picks up Kendrick for a German superplex but Kendrick holds on to the ropes for a moment but Ibushi is able to hit the German superplex. Ibushi gets a near fall. Ibushi goes for a power bomb but Kendrick blocks it. Ibushi with a kick to the arm and then he sets for the power bomb but Kendrick gets to his feet and he tries to get Ibushi over for the Bully Choke. Ibushi blocks it the first time, but Kendrick is able to apply the Bully Choke but Ibushi gets to his feet and he connects with elbows. Kendrick sends Ibushi into the ropes and hits a Burning Hammer for a near fall.
Kendrick with knees and elbows to the head. Ibushi with a round kick and then he blocks a victory roll into a modified sit out power bomb for a near fall. Ibushi goes up top for the Phoenix Splash but Ibushi misses. Kendrick applies the Bully Choke but Ibushi with a roll up for a near fall. Ibushi with a round kick followed by the Golden Star Power Bomb and the three count.
Winner: Kota Ibushi (Advances to face winner of TJ Perkins versus Rich Swann)
