Tucson, AZ (August 20, 2016) - United Wrestling Network (United) is pleased to announce it’s newest participating television promotion, Championship Wrestling from Arizona (CWFA) and its inaugural KTTU/MyTV taping on Saturday September 17th at 1:00PM from the Monsoon Nightclub located inside of the Desert Diamond Casino in Tucson. “I visited Nicolas Marquez in mid 2015 at Championship Wrestling from Hollywood (CWFH) and I was impressed with the operation and after several months of talks with both United and CWFH management I decided that the State of Arizona needed a quality pro wrestling program and earlier this year I secured a partnership with KTTU-TV and Desert Diamond Casino, so together we’ll be bringing back pro wrestling to local television.” said Ricky Vazquez, CWFA Executive Producer.
This first series of MyTV-18 broadcasts will consist of talents representing United promotions from Las Vegas, Hollywood, Texas and Arizona. Currently scheduled to appear: Arizona State stand out Hammerstone, United Television Champion Bateman, United Tag Team Champions “Gentleman” Jervis Cottonbelly and Hobo the team of “Friendship Express”, from Impact Wrestling Eli Drake, from Lucha Underground Willie Mack, CWFH Heritage Champion “Pretty” Peter Avalon, The Tribe, the premiere of Lucha Libre Superstar Espirito taking on Tucson’s very own Krazy Fly plus much, much more!
CWFA debuts on MyTV-18 in Tucson on Sunday September 11th at 10:00AM and every Sunday thereafter and we invite you to get to know some of the competitors by watching CWFH on the FITE app available on your smart devices.
