The first two matches went as you would expect.  I am glad that they got on the show.

Then the panel talked about the Finn Balor vs. Seth Rollins matches.  Jerry Lawler made a point to say that Balor does the Demon to intimidate the guys he wrestles.  That works in NXT but it won’t work in WWE.  Lita then did an amazing job of explaining what the Demon really is, drawing deeply from something inside to make you more than you may be otherwise.  I didn’t do justice to what she said.  It was amazing.  Way to go Lita.

We are now up to match one of the best of seven between Cesaro and Sheamus.

They started hot and physical.  The crowd thinks that Sheamus looks stupid.

Sheamus was in control as they went to commercial.  I hate that they do commercials.

These guys are working really hard and it's good.  The people are invested in Cesaro.  Sheamus got a two when he turned the Neurtalizer into White Noise.  The crowd told Sheamus he looked stupid as he went up to the top and did a rolling senton.  Two count.

Sheamus set for the Brogue but ran into a stiff clothesline instead.  Two count.  Cesaro went to the ring post and jumped from there to the top turnbuckle and hit a splash for a two.  Then he went swinging and turned it into a Sharpshooter but Sheamus got the rope for the break.

Sheamus turned the tide with a thumb to the eye and a Brogue for the win.  As expected, Sheamus took the first one.  Great match, also as expected.

They announced that 15,974 are in attendance.  You didn't think NXT would have more people did you?  We are opening with Enzo and Cass vs. Chris Jericho and Kevin Owens.  Great pop for the hometown boys, who came out first.  They did the exact New York-centric promo you would expect, and it got over.  Cass even sang New York New York.

Jericho came out to a decent pop.  Owens came out to a MONSTER pop.

Enzo and Jericho started out, which was smart since Jericho is the fourth man on the popularity scale in this contest.

The faces dominated for the first few minutes and it was good.  Then, the heels got heat on Enzo.

Enzo got beat down for a few minutes but then fought his way back.  He went for the hot tag and Jericho stopped it.  This is old school.  Owens hit a Frog Splash for a two, as Enzo kicked out.  The crowd is behind Enzo.

Enzo kept fighting and made the hot tag.  Cass came in and went into destruction mode.  he then tagged in Enzo for their finisher but Enzo stopped it and left Enzo prone on the post.  He then took Cass out with a cannonball on the floor.  Jericho went to pick the bones but Enzo came back with the DDG.  Owens stopped it.  They double teamed Enzo into a Codebreaker and got the win.  I was hoping that they would show that Enzo could win on his own, but they didn't.  I should have figured that Enzo and Cass had to lose in their hometown.  Really good match to start the show.

Jericho and Owens professed their love for each other as they went to the back.  Payback is on the horizon.

They showed Bryan and Shane in the back.  They ran into Mick Foley.  Jon Stewart is here with his son.  He mocked Foley for working with Steph.  My pizza came.  Weezy said the New Day came out as Stewart acted like "Steph is nice".  The New Day showed up.  No Big E with them (but he is there).

Sasha Banks vs. Charlotte for the WWE Women's Title is up next.

OK, so my dinner came as this match started.  I couldn't blog.  I am glad I couldn't, I just got to watch it.  It was off the hook amazing.  Once I realized that Sasha wasn't hurt when she came off of the top badly, I got totally into it.  This was NXT level Women's work.  WWE let them go and damn, did they.  The story was that Sasha was hurt from the aforementioned spot and that is the only reason she couldn't hold on and Charlotte got to roll through for the win, taking the Title.  Man, that was freakin' awesome.

Sorry I couldn't blog more but selfish me is happy that I just got to watch.

After the match, The Club was in the back when AJ Styles came out.  They joked about just beating John Cena when Finn Balor walked in.  They showed they were friends.  They teased the crowd and the loved it.  Balor left.
